Game Informer is pretty much my new IGN.
You must remember No Man Sky came out with 3 HUGE free content updates and another one on it's way that is suppose to be even bigger than the last one which was huge as well. Sean Murray lied, that was the main reason for the hate which is fine. The game is actually really fun now and it is going to get better in the future. I can see Sea of Thieves doing the same.

A shit developer with one of the best shooting mechanics in any shooter... They literally had to change the foundation of the game with Destiny 2. D1 was good but there were a lot of problems that were built into the foundation. Since they are on a strict contract with Activision they had to come up with a game. We already have a battle royal mode but with respawn... free for all.
Not often games with MTs let you get everything by just playing the game. Destiny is a game where you can earn everything the games as to offer by just playing it or spending in game currency. I spent more money on crates in rocket league since you can't earn those by playing. You just earn uncommon ones by playing.

There will be new and reskinned weapons. You have to remember so many people want new weapons and so many people want old weapons back from the old games. There is no middle ground right there so Bungie is at a lose lose there so they made both people happy. Of course, we have people like you who still complain. But when other developers come out with new DLC with the same enemy types no one bats an eye at it. Destiny gets looked at through a microscope compared to other games. Destiny is no where near perfect but just seeing people's hate on this game when other games do the same.
There will finally be a grind in the game at least! I am excited for it. I just love the people who already know the future and must post their delusional opinion on something that isn't even out yet (even if it is true but in reality we don't know).
There is probably a game that is kind of similar to whatever they are doing but they are going to probably had a twist and say it is a new concept. In theory, they are right since it will be new but it won't be drastically different. This is just PR talk from them to get people interested. I am excited for May 8th though!

You are aware that this game supports COOP and PvP. The PvP is not the most engaging thing in the world but that isn't the point.
What level were you around when you did the Valkyries?
Two things
1.) They didn't have enough to time to implement one
2.) They want people to enjoy the story without stopping to take a pic that will take you out of the immersion. They put so much work on the camera work to get lost by a photo-mode.
I think it is both of these. I just want a NG+ if I really want something.
My question, if he beat it in 8 hours, he must have played it before the normal way so he knew where to go and where not to go. I am sure he put some hours into that, BUT when he was ready to do his speed run, he knew 100% what it would be, right?
I never understood the concept of when a new genre comes out and people think well, can't have anymore of these games!
Do you think developers that saw Doom were like, well, can't make FPS now? The more we get the better that genre becomes.

That is a good point too. I would gladly take a discounted PS4 pro with GOW and Spiderman in the Holiday season.

That is the problem, SP games never needed to prove that people were buying them. There are countless of games from this generation, last generation and the one before it that showed SP games can sell. I never understood the concept of people thinking that SP games are going away.
You do know Bungie made Destiny AND Halo, a developer who gave us great SP content AND top notch competitive PvP. I guess they forgot what they were good at in Destiny lol
That is very true but I am mostly on Reddit anyways and that gets information out pretty quickly. They have some fun content that I enjoy to watch like Prepare to Try. At times they have some good articles but it is a way to past the time at work when it is slow.
