Does that mean there will be another PS4 God of War game? I feel like it is a stretch to do this on the PS5. The PS5 won't have the save file on it to know, right?
You also have to remember COD and Battlefield give PS4 players the first person shooter action each year. Then you also have your other 3rd party developers making first person shooters as well.
I really don't understand why they gave us the middle finger with the DLC.
I love when people think that 2 BR games is too many BR games... The PS4 literally has 2 in the market and one isn't technically even out and just in the open beta phase.
I think Xbox has 2 as well and one is also in beta phase as well.
I remember people saying way back when ohh too many open world games and too many first person shooters... here we are with tons of open world games and first person shooters. A good game is just that, a good game.

Socom 4, I guess you could say that was an AWFUL/TERRIBLE Socom game. BUT it was an okay game if it didn't have the word Socom in the title.
They actually did a study a while back with the MS controller and PS controller (360/PS3). They found that the PS controller gives you more precise aiming because the joysticks are parallel to one another. Also, the PS joysticks had a bigger circumference than the MS controller. I remember they asked a bunch of non gamers to play games with each controller. Some started with MS first and some with PS. Of course, it wasn't a super drastic difference.
Just like what the developers of GOW did with that story, they are keeping a tight lid on the story since that is one of the main focus of the game. A game like Far Cry the developers didn't really hide anything and showed a lot of the game. My least concern is the story because of that. When a developer cares so much for their story to not ruin it by showing off too much of it.
People are so quick to judge and people on the Internet love to think the worst about their hobby. There are a lot of things in this game that I have never done in a game before. Of course, there some stuff that I have done. I just hate the people who say, open world game pass too many of them. I mean, almost every genre you can say that about. A good game is just that, a good game regardless of what genre it is from.
I am so happy it is. This year we have so many games coming out that are already popular (RDR 2, Last Of Us, COD, BF V, Spiderman and more) This is the studios first new IP since 1999. I want to give them all the time they need to make this game top notch!
One thing that really has my attention that is a really small thing is the stamina bar. Something like that can bring in a lot of immersion, that will make this game a little bit more grounded compared to other games.
I haven't bought a COD since 4. I had no urge to play any of the SP games because they are SP games where you play them and forget them. Seeing them going the MP/COOP root makes me a little excited that they will put more focus on time into the MP/COOP. I do want to see how the battle royale plays out. If the BR looks decent I MAY pick this game up. I honestly thought, I would NEVER say that about a COD game.
Of course, I need to see the Battlefield V news this Wednesda...

You literally had to go all the way to 2006 just to say a COD had a good SP. That tells you a lot right there. I haven't bought COD since COD 4 (because of great MP). Seeing how they are ditching SP, makes me think that the SP will be deeper and more fun (we will see). I also want to see on the 23rd what Dice has planned for BF V.
Personally, I think D1 was a test game for what they want for the future of Destiny. They wanted to see how people will play the game and what people actually wanted (hardcore AND casual gamer).
D2 was just that, a game to slowly bring the casuals into the game. Of course, that was at the cost of the hardcore gamer. The more I see what they are doing the more I see they are cleaning everything up and balacning things out for the hardcore and casual gamer.

That is exactly what is wrong with MP nowadays. People need some reason to unlock things, something to grind for, or a rank that only goes up. It is a shame. That is why I liked BF 1 so much, you still had some unlocks but not too much or hard to do. You also had way less attachments. That made people use different weapons instead of using the same weapons with the same attachments.
I miss when MP was about getting better with amazing game play.
And why do people assume PUBGs was the first battle royal game? You can probably call it the first successful BR game. I wonder if people had these talks (no internet was around) with FPS way back in the day. It is soo silly these articles.
Halo always had depth to the MP with a high skill gap between players. Of course, that was the case since Halo 2. That was 14 years ago! I wouldn't question any of this if the newest Halo were the best Halo's to date. They are really good but they don't compare. As a gamer/consumer, why buy something when it isn't getting better?
NVM you are right.
Just like most games you should have the ability to turn this stuff off. I also am not a fan of that as well.
It is funny, I copied someone else reply because I remember in an interview him saying that. Instead of doing rock hard google searches for an answer, I saw someones comment and he said the same thing as me with a link and here we are. Long story short, don't steal other people's idea because well, they can be wrong lol
Sorrry about that though. I should have at least read the article.
