The real question is... how hot was it that the THERMOMETER, a device meant to read and withstand high temperatures, melted? I know it says the last recorded temperature on the link... but I refuse to believe that any company would release a thermometer that couldn't handle 200 degrees.
I ran my ps3 for 4 months without turning it off, folding 60% of the time (while i wasn't home). It never once even gave a hiccup.
Actually... the PS3 help people are in America. Not to be predjudiced against any group of people, but it was nice to not have to ask "what?" every three seconds, compared to whenever I have to call Windows help line...
lol, thanks for the advice. That was just the first think that popped into my head when I thought "Heavenly Sword" and "Atari-era game". Don't ask me why... Custers Revenge just sticks out. Open environments... lots of enemies attacking you... HS is really just a next gen Custers Revenge /sarcasm
wow... i thought n4g was bad for fanboys, then i clicked the link to CVG and all I can say is wow... now i know where xboys go to die. Fanboyism is bad from either side. And apparently the people there have only read one review of HS each, and it was a 6 out of 10. Apparently that doesn't get trumped but like 8 or 9 great ratings, but whatever.
I picked up shin butoden for the Saturn a few years back... that is a kick @$$ game.
It'll fit on DVD. It just needs to be compressed... see?
I'm blind because I question your ability to sum up someone's entire worth as a human based on an internet comment post? Seriously, I could care less whether or not Sony or MS 'wins' this console gen, because you know what... there's always going to be another gen. As long as the games are good and they keep coming I really couldn't give a damn. But honestly, what have the big, bad Sony fanboys actually done to you to warrant your hate? Anything short of murdering your mother is to little in ...
i gotta say, the game is a lot of fun, but I'm having trouble getting into it. Is it a wonderful game? Hell yeah. Does it deserve a 10 from anyone? Hell, no.
EDIT: @CodeMonkey (below) if that was directed at me, I can assure that I have BioShock for the PC, in fact i bought the Limited Edition the day it came out. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it isn't one of the best games to come out this year, but I think games should be rated based on the history of gaming as a whole,...
Actually, you probably didn't need the /sarcasm at the end. I don't doubt that at this point in Orange Box development they are pretty much living at the office. It's called "crunch time" and every game company has it for like 1 or 2 months right before a big title comes out.
Were you not hugged enough as a child... because you seem to harbor a lot of anger towards a group of people who haven't REALLY wronged you in any way...
AAA, by definition, is a game with a huge budget and production team. Whether or not that pans out to AAA sales is up to consumers.
lol, that's the same card I have, an ASUS 7950GX2. You can't even find them in most places anymore. So much for all that quad-SLI hype. Anyway, hope my doesn't crap out on me.
Nvidia 8800Pro if money isn't important. Just make sure you have a PCIx16 bus and not an AGP bus. The only reason I say that is last time someone told me "money is no object" and they bought a 8800GTX, they had an old-ass mobo with AGP 8x bus only.
Let's be honest... there's going to be massive downgrades from what we've seen so far on most PCs too...
lol, I love the part where the guys runs off of the building in the background and the guy playing says something like "people were really dumb back then". There area few glitches to point out, and he even pointed a few out whilst playing, but in sandbox games like these you just can't catch all of them. GTA games ship with more glitches than this one has.
The last thing the PS3 has is "outdated" RAM. XDR is cutting edge as far as memory goes. And remember... consoles DO NOT need as much RAM as PCs do.
I really hope that was sarcasm... that's like looking outside and saying "hmm... it seems to be raining". Better not grab the umbrella yet, he's not sure!
Lemme get this right.... you claim to like RPGs like Final Fantasy... but you don't like games with reading. Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy of that logic? Seriously, unless you started playing FF with number 10 (in which case you're missing out on the actual GREAT Final Fantasy's like 5 and especially 6) then you never would have made it through a game. BTW... FF helped me learn to read back in the days of FF4.
And in no way does it deserve below a 7/10. Even from the French olympics judge. It's decent game, and personally I think it's a lot better than a lot of the crap I see getting 7's and 8's in magazines and on websites. I would give it an 8.5. I really don't believe the people who rate them play through the whole game. If you got past the first few chapters you'd realize that it ISN'T that repetitive, and the controls AREN'T that horrible. They're new and different. You can't just pick them up...
