PS3 games arent region locked.
Neither Sony, nor GG, have ever given a release date before Feb '09.
And, without seeing the actual contractual agreement between Tecmo and MS about the publishing of NG2, it cant be ruled out. I'd imagine, at best, that there is a timed duration on MS's hold of the game. TEcmo is too big of a company to allow anything else.
Not to mention that they gave it the same undeserved score everyone else did. Why even bother?

Just for the record, when the game was released on 360 I didnt care about it, and now that its coming on on ps3, I still dont. might give it a rental, if im bored enough. dont really care for fps without multiplayer.

Resistance 2 is a definite buy for me. Insomniac has never made a game that ranks less than "GREAT" in my book.
Guerilla has shown me nothing in the past so ill wait for others reactions to KillZone, or my own on a rental since thats all its worth to me at this point in time.
Especially, with the past ports from xbox/pc to ps3, theres like a 75% chance itll suck balls anyways, even over a year later. The only actual good port that i can think of is Oblivio...
You could say im a sony "fanboy", and ill go on record right now saying I still couldnt care less about bioshock, whether on 360, pc or ps3. it could be good, it could be great, whatever. a fps with no multiplayer is at best a rental for me.
Im not entirely sure, but id be willing to bet MS has some kind of naming policy in place for Xbox live. In that case, you have no rights other than what Microsoft allows you to have.

They could port the original EQ and all of its expansions to PS3 and id be happy. Would also introduce a whole new group of people to THE MMO. Not that WoW garbage.

Well, theyll have to sue me as well. Sure, the story wasnt as compelling as earlier in the series, but the battle system was a huge step in the right direction from previous games.
My only real complaint was that I found the game a tad on the easy side, so much that the whole gambit system was almost unnecessary.
Single player demo was ho-hum. Had my bro download it, too, and we played together on hard difficulty. Upped the fun by like 5 or something. That's where the games strength is going to be, not relying on ai controlled teammates.
Day one buy for me.

GTA was hardly a trash game. Did it deserve perfect 10's? No. a Solid 8.5 was about right.
