In EQ, there were a lot of legitimate complaints way back when, but the attempts Verant made to fix them never helped.

I dont like the controls. Maybe the movement/aim will be better after spending some time getting accustomed to it, but I could not find a single pre-set button layout that I found comfortable for use.

I dont understand how in this day and age, some developers just wont let you completely remap the controller if you want to.

I was actually referring to EverQuest and all the complaints by certain class'. My experience with Diablo is limited to playing the PlayStation version that came out years ago, though I did enjoy the hell out of that.

God, I dont even play Warcraft but just reading your posts is like a timewarp back to 2000.

after I maxed out at level 20,which came way too fast, the game became a chore. There was no real incentive to continue exploring, as the story line of the game was mediocre at best.

Dragons Lair was released in like 1982 or something.

It always seems worse because the other people are the ones doing it. To someone like me, who has no console preference either way, you're all incredibly c*nty when something like this is said.

I see no difference what so ever. I imagine it's mainly due to the horrible video quality. Really, what was the point?

Elena was hotter anyways. Both the character and the chick who did the voice/motion capture. Think her name is Emily Rose.

You have to stop and consider what they are known for. Uncharted is regarded as being, simply put, a great game. The first 2 Tomb Raiders were good, but it was mainly due to Lara's bust that it got, and has continued to get, any attention.

Which would you rather play?

It made no sense in call of duty or uncharted, but in games like Halo or Resistance they actually have a somewhat plausible reason for it.

Sadly, no. It was one of the 2 great JRPGs (the other being WildArms) that came out before the overrated Final Fantasy 7. It has a strong cult fanbase, but was sadly overlooked by most people.

If you can get beyond the SNES level visuals, it's a thoroughly enjoyable game that was well worth $50 back in '96, and is a steal for $10.

Yeah, been checking back ever half hour or so. Kinda weird. I finished the game 2 days ago and already want to go back even though I have VC to play through still. I'm already planning out my character in my head. What skills and perks and whatnot.

Im not denying anything. Yeah, people have the 360 version had the option to collect acheivments from the beginning. PS3 owners will have to play through again to get trophies, IF they want/care. Which I do, as it's a good game.

We get it. Fact is, the only person making a fuss about it is you. Someone who is completely unaffected by it. This makes you a troll. A sad, lonely troll.

I did suffer a few freezes. Never really saw a correlation between them and incoming messages, but they were so infrequent (maybe 5 over the 70+ hours i put into the game) that it didn't bug me much.

That makes even less sense. Whats the difference between playing 2 times for trophies and then once just for fun, or playing once for fun and then 2 times for trophies? Seems to me like you're fishing here .....

still no patch for me. been bowling in HOME til it gets up.

6269d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

How do you figure? I put 70+ hours into the game my first time through, and now this gives me the motivation to replay it. I'll just be getting more entertainment out of my $60 than I would otherwise. Same thing happened with Uncharted and GTA4 ....

well, not GTA4. Just considering replaying that game make me vomit in my mouth a little.

Only 36 hours?! My first run through took me 75ish, but I explored every inch of sewer, office building and surface i could. I even spent a good 2 hours of it trying to figure out how to get to the area in the middle of the highly radioactive field not far outside of little lamplight. Boy, was my face red after i got to that point in the MQ.

I finally started playing the game last Friday, and have had a hard time getting anything else done because of it. It's far more enjoyable than Oblivion for me, due to a much less clumsy combat system which is a huge part of both games.

The only real complaint I have about the game is that it's just too easy even with the difficulty cranked up. Then, with the difficulty at very hard, I gained more experience per kill, which meant my character level was maxed out before I even got...
