Why would they need to? They provided links to their original reviews and the only real difference between the originals and the remastered games is the hd resolution which they commented on.
It's one of those games I just cant bring myself to give a dern about. FPS' aren't my favorite, and it's not like there's anything about the game that grabs my attention and makes me feel the need to buy it.
The graphics in KillZone 2 attracted the graphics-whore in me, I'll admit. If it hadn't been for that, I would not have bought that one either. At least it was a solid game where it mattered, so I ended up getting quite a bit of fun out of it. Enough to not make me regret the...
Why would anyone trash you? You can spend your money on whatever you choose.
It's even worse than that for me. Started with DS, put that on hold to play through uncharted, all the while I had Brutal Legend and Batman unopened sitting on my desk. Now Borderlands is with it, followed by Ratchet and Clank next week. I Just don't have that kind of free time.
A loss of 55k units sold at best. Half of them would probably just have pirated the game anyway.
Bought it yesterday. Too bad I still need to finish Demon's Souls. It'll have to wait.
Heh, bought Uncharted, Batman and Brutal Legends on the Toys'R'Us deal this past Tuesday. That's how it should be done.
Wow, really? Another perfect score for this game? Who'da thunk it? 8am cant come fast enough for me =/
It's been 2 years. Anyone who had any interest whatsoever in the story of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune knew Eddie died.
None at Target, BestBuy, Wal-Mart and of the 3 GameStops in the area only 1 had a copy. An open one that they were selling at a "new" price. Said screw that. Walked in to the FYE down the other end of the mall on the off chance they might have some in stock and got the 1 copy they got in. Lucky me.
As long as it's hard, and not frustratingly hard, which all the reviews i've read seem to imply it is. I'm always up for a challenge. I've even scheduled a vacation from work for the week after.
As a professional Space Marine, games like Halo and Doom make me mad. I dont appreciate the fact that these games allow anyone else to take down hordes of demons and aliens with ease. I spent years training and practicing.
No, I'm not. I also hated this aspect to the MGS series also.
The whole time travel plot device sucked too. I'm no brain scientist, but i dont quite understand how the ability to manipulate electrical currents allowed Kessler to travel back in time anyways.
You basically get half a story, with the other part probably being the more interesting of the 2.
Thank god. inFAMOUS was a great game with a horrible ending. I hate cliffhangers.
Nice! Pandemonium was a severely under appreciated game in its day. Blood Omen is a bad ass game as well.
Isn't the pre order for ps3 slim already up on kmart.com for $299.99?
Activision = Business
Sales of WAW + Modern Warfare = 20 million +
Reason to raise the price of Modern Warfare = Profit. They ARE a business after all.
The whole point of all those people coming together to develop the game isn't some deep seeded desire to entertain the masses. It's to make money. Dont like it, dont buy it.
Games have no more bugs or glitches than they did in years past. There is just now an opportunity to correct these problems after they're sold at the retail level, so most take the opportunity to do so. That's why you notice it more.
Anyways, I remember paying $79.99 for Final Fantasy III at Toys'R'Us, so $60 for a good game aint too steep/
400k (or whatever the actual figure is since no-one really knows) for a new IP is actually pretty good for one part of the world. Then, you also have to take into account how much the actual development cost compared to how much profit they made/how much they think a sequel will make or if it might help sell more consoles in Japan. Where in your arse you pulled that 1 million copies sold from I have no idea.
I bought it and couldn't give less of a sh!t.
