That's exactly how I am. I'd rather pay the extra $5 so that the people who put time and money into the game see the profit. The only time I have ever bought a used game is when they're no longer in production.
Luckily for me, there's a privately owned game store right up the street from me that has a pretty significant selection of classic (atari, NES etc.) up to current consoles. Plus, they retail new games for like $1 less than Gamestop. The only downside to this place is tha...
Been looking at my copy for the past 2 days trying to resist the urge to play it. Waiting for my next day off from work to really get in to it =/
Nahh, Final Fantasy xi has had pc/ps2/360 together for years.
COuld the Wii finally be bottoming out? Ive never seen the appeal, but those wacky asians seems to love them for like 2 years.
Lord Vader's point is, for lack of a better term, pointless. No developers will require something that, and im pulling this # out of my arse so don't quote me on this, 50% of the user-base couldn't do out of the box. How many games released on the 360 allow an optional install? I'm only asking because I honestly don't know, but it isn't crazy to assume that if it were a reasonable option, it would be mandatory.
The MP is a lot of fun, assuming you get in to a good map. Radec Academy and, i think, Blood Gracht kinda blow. They're too cramped and people just flood doorways and essentially walk into a meat grinder.
Im just happy to see that Epic is still showing support for a game that didn't sell well ( on either ps3 or pc, don't know how well it did on 360)
The guns dont have "realistic" weight to them. Spin around holding an assault rifle, then switch to the pistol and then to the knife. There is no difference in turning speed, even if you only move the stick half way.
I do find the arguing funny though, especially the claims of it adding realism. Yet, Sev can duck behind storage crate for 5 seconds, and suddenly he is no longer affected by the 3 gunshot wounds he just took.
I know the controls are garbage,...
As good as Killzone looks, I stand firm in my belief that Uncharted still looks better. The lighting in Killzone is amazing, but for overall visual appeal, Uncharteds lush jumgles are far more appealing to me.
"Killzone 2 is really more like a new IP, the original was an average game, so it's not like it's a huge franchise that has millions of fans."
Nah, if anything Killzone 2 is at a disadvantage. I bought into, and was disappointed by, the first. I paid little to no attention to #2 until I played the demo. With a new IP, you get to make a first impression. Killzone as a franchise did that years ago, and for a lot of people, it wasn't a good one.
Nah, they really aren't fine. Clumsy is the word id use to describe it.
Im 90% sure Ninja Blade already came out over there. Or i could be thinking of a different game. I'm too lazy to look it up.
Having finally gotten around to playing Dead Space last week, I have to agree. What made it even more challenging and therefore fun was my first play through was on Hard going for the one gun Trophy. There were certain areas that took forever.
Anderson actually did a good job with Resident Evil. The first anyways, the sequels were awful. I think he also did Mortal Kombat, which was a good flick too.
Im surprised by this. The game was released over a year ago and didn't sell well on PS3 or PC (dont know how well it did on 360.) At the very least, Epic is showing support for the series that was their workhorse before Gears was even conceptualized. Kudos for that.
The only thing in that video that was even somewhat funny was the fart sound when the 360 logo came up. That made me chuckle.
Probably does, but if so only because every 360 comes with a headset I think. I'd say 50% who use a PS3 dont, so while theyre more likely just as douchey, you never hear from them.
"Every time I hear someone say that Tekken is the best fighting series ever made I think that he or she is a rookie. Anyone who has ever played the Street Fighter series or the Mortal Kombat series would laugh when hearing this claim."
Mortal Kombat?! It is, was, and always will be the single most overrated franchise in the history of the genre. Even now, when most people would agree that the series has gone to sh!t, it's still given way too much credit.
I have played it, and they are sluggish. It might be something that you can get accustomed to, however. What is inexcusable is the fact that they dont allow you to remap the buttons. It's 2009 for gods sake.
That's sorta true. I for one think that any game worth playing has a fully configurable button layout to begin with.
