which sounds too much like what was said about Silikon knights and Too Human.
But the issue is more of they actually are pulling out all the stops (by building the tools they need to make the game they want to make). Hopefully they'll release it in time for people to enjoy it.
most importantly on a limited system where they can't even run the game at fll resolution.
It'll be fun seeing them make a PC game where such limitations are more relaxed on the high end.
what a waste they didn't use the "3" to make the game 3D on consoles and PC browsers.
why? it would require all games made for it to support 1080p which then allows the device to be connected to a 1080p set.
May devices already can connect to 1080p sets, lets you play back all kinds of stuff in high quality.
being able to get in2 da chopppah
(But the launcher will download patches for versions of the game you might not have)
- Players can now suppress Opportunities by selecting the Opportunities Suppression check box in the Game Options menu. This means players can still get opportunities through interactions, but no opportunities will be automatically directed towards the player.
- The game can now detect downloaded content and use these objects in Sims’ dreams, opportunities, etc.
...
Sony would be foolish to not support 1080p on their mobile because there's no reason to release it if it can't connect directly to Bravia TVs, act as a controller or use Dual Shock controllers for game play.
It doesn't need to be as powerful as PS3 but other mobiles have everything PSP has and even services that rival PS3.
helicopter DLC would be nice.. probably bet one bikes
I didn't even know that.. interesting info
this reminds me of that ren and stimpy episode when Stimpy thought he was pegnant and was going to have a child with ren.
Kinect is Phil Spencer and Kudo's baby.
they don't and have said so often.
that isn't fair. That's just how the marketing guys spun it. Kinect will fail if game devs can't make good software for it and if it can't be unplugged from Xbox and used for PC.
= commercials and an immunity to common sense
I'd expect it to sell for the UI extension functionality (remote gesture and voice control and the teleconferencing thing).
It isn't the cheapest teleconferencing platform but it does work and you'd get a gaming and entertainment machine too.
slap and tickle.. hmm that would make the game much more interesting.
Console + KVM, to run an operating system wasn't what I was expecting, but YAY.
and to keep the franchise fresh and relevant without burning money on marketing.
But better they release it and keep working on it in the background (as sequels) instead of being idiots like PD and just never release the title, holding it back for an entire console generation.
money and time constraints. It would cost more to continue working on it, especially QA if the game isn't projected to do that well anyway.
Plus for years the rule has practically been release it as long as it is functional and patch it later. All platforms support such update paths in one way or another.
graphics were impressive.
game play was slow.
story.. they lost me and never bothered to work at liking it.
At least the new game sounds interesting again and has game play that sounds worthwile to investigate. I'm still not a fan of the story or concept.
