It was ambitious, I loved the game but what held me back from marrying it was the fact the enemies always auto targeted you. If you popped up from cover you were fading very fast while the guys on your squad just shat in their shorts.
While I agree that drm is wrong, cinavavia only kicked in when I downloaded a movie without paying for it. So those are the risks.

I never played it. It actually had Fmv and just not ingame engine movies? I know that voice was capable but alot mulitplats did not carry over the voice and games that should have had it did not. I think it was because of memory or space issues.When Conker came out I was playing Metal gear and resident evil along with any rpg I could find.
They did keep it unique, and the tech was the best available, just look at motion controls with Skyward Sword. They misread the market and did not think that HDTV's would be as popular and so they didn't think they needed to increase system power. Games are still fun without seeing HD. But let's be honest would you want a girl with a great personality, or do want a HOT girl with a great personality?

Yes, very big mistake. They lost Square and Enix, and cartridges could not hold FMV or voice. Remember too that N64 was cartridge system because Nintendo had a deal with Sony that they reneged on. The SNES was supposed to have a Sony Disc drive.

I think it is incompetence led by arrogance. The incompetence in seeing the way their system network is not on par with ps or Xbox. To not unify accounts so that if my wii u dies I do not have to send it back to Nintendo to get my games on a new one. I wish people would stop being so stupid with stuff, license it for cheap so that they make some money rather than nothing trying to extort it from other companies.
I also wish that a license to use something in a title carried into every medium that title was on.
I then wish that we didn't have to deal with licensing at all and fair use was able to be invoked in alot of instances. Most of the time it is free advertising for the the company.
While our hobby includes a little work or some parts of a game may be time consuming, Rockstar artificially inflated the amount required to do the "work". I don't want to view my gaming hobby as a second job.
Kay. Well what Rockstar did was make it harder to earn cash AFTER the game was released. They didn't even do it subtly. They showed the very dark side of micro transactions as developers and publishers pull the gears and push people to pay exorbitant prices for virtual items. Greed. They already sold millions of copies. They were already rich of the sales of the game, and they want more. Not a little bit more with a little in game advertising, but alot more.
Doesn't anyone find it ironic that Rockstar has made a game about breaking all the rules, flaunts in front of people's faces, then punishes those who breaks their greedy rules? Hmmmmm hypocrites much.
And the exclusives it does have are little branches off console brands.
