Why do you put that much emphasis on visuals? Why hold a standard that does nothing to really make the game fun or enjoyable once we have passed a certain threshould?
Exactly. 2 types of complainers: the ones who notice and simply mention it in conversation "Yea the witcher doesn't look as good as what the developers were showing, but still a fun game"
And 2: the people that have no life but to tear stuff down to somehow put themselves up. The spew vitriol to make it sound as if their opinion means something.

Seeing some these comments makes me feel old. Some of you people do not have the roots in gaming that us older ones do. it is not a bad thing but I am not yet thirty and with some people saying pikmin 2 or ps2 games made them gamers has an odd ring to it.
I hope that some of you who haven't been playing games as long as some of us go back and play the nes or snes heritage. or even further. sometimes seeing the past can make you appreciate the present a lot more.

Yea my parents worried about that too. I have ADD, and I love gaming, but it kinda went into a little unhealthy. When I was out with friends after a while I would wish I was back home gaming. I think with kids the important thing to make sure that they know that gaming may be a preferred hobby but there so much else out there to enjoy. Yea.I do not have a lot of time on my hands so fighting games and racing games do not give me the reward factor that unlocking a story usually does. I love to read and reflect on characters.
Racing and fighting games the reward is purely in a progression. once you get to the goal the pay off is just that you got there kind of lIke driving to the store. In a story driven game, when done right, the game progress is like a doing a long hike to a great view.
Where is my elephant? And by elephant I mean the psplus version. I don't usually buy racing games as there is no story. But I would maybe buy drive club by playing it first. Streams don't do it justice I hear And I need something to show off my set up.

I am from east coast canada originally. I have seen some crazy prolonged winds. Like days. Yes the gusts are more powerful but the wind will blow consistently for hours and hours easily. Ever see a stack of plywood get thrown about like a deck of cards? Tornado belt people have for sure (and much worse) but not many others
It is not that women are more vulnerable than men was what his point was. Ripley is the main character in the Alien films. So we as the player identify her as the character in the film all the vulnerability and the times she said "f*** you" to the queen
People not knowin it exists Is the problem. The critics who bash everything don't take the time to bring to light positive things. Even though the game has flaws doesn't mean that it should be ignored as a game with a female protagonist.

Yea I paid, or should I say my wife did when it came out last year, and it is a demo. Maybe it does give us the plot leading into phantom pain but when I used to get demo discs they were about as long.
