The Master Sword isn't the be all end all for weapons. It only has 30 attack, which is respectable, but whereas other weapons break, the Master Sword weakens through frequent use and will only regain attack through not using it. That means you are still very dependent on having a reliable arsenal of other weapons to keep you going, and either way, the Master Sword won't replace a bow when fighting the different Blight bosses in the Divine Beasts.
No guide is needed for the Master Sword. If you've played enough Zelda, the location will be obvious. After that, actually drawing the sword is explained by the game and then it's just a matter of meeting the plainly stated requirement.
It's nice they're offering a free upgrade, but sucks for those that can't afford to upgrade to the PS4 before the PS3 support drops. It's understandable that the final bits of support are steadily disappearing from last gen hardware though. The fact that FFXIV had enough players to still warrant keeping the PS3 version alive this long is pretty amazing in its own way.
This is why you should avoid buying MMOs on consoles though. PC support will always last th...
Cost. They probably have to cut a deal to the publisher for more substantial discounts like what's being offered. After all, the publisher likely still expects the same share of profit from every copy sold.
Ditto. With how I play games anymore, 30 - 50 hours will be either two focused weeks or around three spread out weeks.
"Zestiria (which we loved)" pretty much explained this score perfectly. Zestiria was awful. Truly average at its peaks, a mockery to the series at its worst. I'm around 11 hours into Berseria, and I already like everything about it infinitely more. It is a far better game. Drawing the links between Berseria, Zestiria, and maybe even Phantasia and Symphonia is also pretty interesting. A character with a personal stake in ongoing events, a personality that isn't a pure goody t...
I would be really, really hesitant about that, but maybe that's just the skeptic in me that refuses to believe someone would be stupid enough to post a legitimate $200 item in a way that it would barely reach $50 by auction conclusion.
Geeze, another cheap method to slamming bosses? Between this and the Sloth Talisman, a bit of work needs to be done to maintain the game balance as it was intended.
I wish I knew. Horizon shows up first, so I'll give that the old college try before I dip into Zelda, and maybe I'll use Nier for when I need a small break from the larger adventures for some fast paced action.
I'm buying all three, Nier, Horizon, and Zelda, day one. I need better self control.
If you'll play them right away, sure. Games eventually drop in price as long as Nintendo didn't develop them, so you can be reasonably comfortable buying a game whenever. I buy most of the games I want at launch now, and my only regret is that I could have gotten a few of them much cheaper by the time I got around to playing them.
There are no legit 512GB Micro SDXC cards. You got swindled. The highest I can find from a reputable brand is 256GB for $200, 2/3 of the Switch price itself.
The closest we'll ever get to Paper Zelda is probably A Link Between Worlds, and I'm okay with that. Though I still want to shiv everyone at Nintendo who decided Paper Mario was the ideal series to screw around with for the sake of generally mediocre to outright bad experimentation. I will be disgruntled about Paper Mario until my final days on this Earth.
Bans are unlikely. We'll probably just see a patch that limits the functionality of devices that allow use of mouse and keyboard during games, either on a game or system level.
That said, the console versions of Overwatch were made and balanced for controller play. By circumventing this for higher precision controls, you become a minority with an advantage that isn't necessarily easy to replicate for all players. On PC, it is balanced against controllers in favor of...
The problem is that a lot of people haven't realized that crowdfunding platforms are a form of investing, and all investing comes with risk of failure or abuse. Maybe the company head didn't know enough, maybe they just wanted to rob people, maybe things just didn't go as smoothly as planned.
When you're paying for a product that doesn't exist yet, you have to accept that sometimes you may take a loss or receive less than the originally promised quality ...
I only have an M310 right now because I was a bit strapped for cash back when I bought it. It has some mechanical issues though that plague it, like the mouse cursor getting stuck until I actually remove and put a battery back in despite light indicating functionality, with similar issues if both the right and left click get pressed simultaneously. The worst is that the middle click requires more pressure than it should to give a response. I guess I probably just got a lemon, but I don't ...
I know your pain, Darkwatchman. My backlog just for my physical PS4 games is already large, not to mention my digital, and games are still coming out like mad the next few months.
On top of what jmc8888 mentioned, sound emulation can be surprisingly tricky and performance impacting. As a nice example, the N64 emulator for PSP, while hardly more than proof of concept, games that worked somewhat decently like OoT still took a performance hit with sound enabled.
With that in mind, I think that sound emulation is relatively low priority and is only focused on once performance is otherwise at a point where any problems caused by sound are easily identifie...
Tell that to the Gamecube.
@JayPi3: There is a blacksmith in the four major towns, but they only repair or rather remake the legendary weapon you get after clearing the story portion of the area.
