Oh my god. That Walmart joke was savage lol
With Fallout 76 announced already, I’m curious what announcement they may have in store that could dwarf their biggest Fallout game to date. Could we get an Elder Scrolls announcement? It’s more than time for a brand new iteration, especially since they’ve run out of places to port Skyrim.
Too bad creative freedom is what comes with a Sony partnership, not Microsoft. Microsoft’s history of killing acquired studios after forcing the studio a specific direction does not bode well for Ninja Theory.
This has not been an exciting conference so far. The best showings have been multi-platform anyways. Now they’re killing time with Forza, the equivalent of EA using E3 time to talk about sports franchises anymore.
"This game would be perfect for the Switch! It would just look a little bit worse, but it would totally run." - The argument for every game that skips the Switch that ignores that fact that the game may not be perfect for the Switch, and that not every developer wants to downgrade their games to run on the Switch. It's like people forget that remasters are a thing, yet we don't see PS4 games being ported to the PS3.
Too bad being lucky isn’t a super power.
Oh. Command & Conquer reappears as a garbage freemium mobile game. The disappointment is real.
Indie stuff? Cool. Battlefield V? Aight. Everything else? Blah. EA doesn’t know how to create hype at all, and it seems to only get worse with each new year. They don’t even advertise new features in their annual sports franchises anymore. They’re better off making the presentation 30 minutes, giving the indie studios some stage time, and rolling most everything else through a trailer reel.
The problem is that Overwatch isn't made in such a way that it's easy to downgrade it to Switch level without harming the integrity of the product. I'm sure Blizzard would have been all over porting if not for the mobile requirement of the Switch that turns pretty games developed by anyone but Nintendo into something that would be at home on the PS2 in its early years.
Nah. She's one of the more unknown members of the Organization. You can always pull out the "x" and rearrange the remaining letters though if you want to guess at it.
You can short the pin without the tool, but the tool exists for the non-technically inclined.
Nice to see improvements coming down. There are a lot of little quality of life fixes in there that should go a long way towards making world travel in particular a touch easier to manage. Hopefully difficulty modes are a planned addition, along with maybe some side quest tweaking. There are still quite a few things they could change in relatively minor ways to create a better experience. For example, I'm not even sure why there is a post game. I may review the game in full at some point,...
The Switch version would have issues happening for a very simple reason: file size. The current total file size of GTA V is around 72GB. Even with a high capacity MicroSD card, that one game would devour the majority of your storage all on its own. Odds are the only way they could reasonably navigate that would be making multiplayer an optional download.
The Switch and its inability to store large capacity games without sacrifice is one thing that is going to hurt it until ...
This is the EU blog. A diary in the context of British English is where they note down dates and appointments and such.
Not right when the game starts, if you’re deciding to take it super literally. You do get all of the Slate abilities before leaving the starting area though, and you already walk out with different weapons and a bow. There’s literally nothing for you to gain out in the world in terms of new items that aren’t simply better weapons, different armor, or consumables.
It’s a complaint I have with the game, really. It runs counter to the true open world to prioritize story and mo...
That isn't the same picture. It isn't hard to look at the original and that one and see that the composition of characters doesn't line up at all, and that there is absolutely no way to get a high enough quality image to touch it up that well. Completely and utterly fake.
Lots of fluff between the big announcements. It’s one of the reasons the question comes up whether Bethesda really needs their own showcase or not. They’re definitely growing and may really be able to justify it in a few more years, but a good chunk of their show so far being plugs for released games is kind of blah.
