It seems to be kind of modeled after classic Megaman games? That's all I can figure from what I saw of it. It looks okay I guess, but I'll probably pass on it unless the world can convince me it's actually amazing.

If they include Bayonetta, no matter if this is new or a port, we riot.

My working theory is that, with iterative updates, the PS5 will be here much sooner than expected, but with a lot more "cross generational" games than we've ever had before.

The rumor mill usually isn't going this hard unless there is some truth to things. The Pro and X were in the rumor mill for a long while, and then, surprise, rumor became reality. Keeping hardware secret is hard though. The phone industry deals with hardware leaks constantly.

That said, if dev kits are just going out, with around a two year development cycle on new games, release before 2020 is unlikely. Although, then again, if consoles are switching more into an itera...

Yeah, the rumble doesn't feel all that different. I can understand how it can be more intense in spurts though than standard rumble, which in this case is what the person needed to really know something was wrong. That said, I've played games that hit rumble so hard on older consoles, I thought the controller would manage to give me a blister. That said, I don't think Nintendo's rumble is necessarily all that different, but rather just better controlled than other existing for...

Oftentimes the next bonfire is dangerously far away, and it can be hard to do what needs to be done when running an enemy avoidance route if you have to rely on the periodic bonfires to reset enemies. It's faster to rest and guarantee getting through than it is to gamble and risk death or be guaranteed trickier maneuvers with a lower success rate and generally higher time.

Two things:

1) Under long debated speed running acceptance rules for runs, resetting is not considered cheating. It’s a common method of manipulating RNG in many games, and otherwise as long as it isn’t used in an exploitative way, it isn’t considered glitching or exploiting. In this case, it’s basically only good for resetting enemy positioning and doesn’t actually abuse any mechanics. The game was designed to let you stop and start in the same place with enemy positions r...

He is really over complicating the fact that a percentage of fans want the vanilla experience. I doubt most that want it will exclusively play vanilla, and if they do, Blizzard shouldn't have opened the server to begin with if there's that much worry about dividing the playerbase in multiple fashions.

If every worthwhile Wii U title outside of Smash wasn't already coming to or out on the Switch, maybe the system would be worth buying. As it stands, the Switch is by far the superior purchase.

It was less hinted at and more started as a rumor that was likely the result of a fever dream. The sheer amount of profit SE would lose from doing a complete collection is immense. There is so much more money in releasing things one by one over and over again.

Saying a series that hasn't met it's full potential somehow doesn't need a sequel is silly to me. Lots of people had fun with the first game, and a more polished and improved second iteration can only increase the audience.

Nintendo Labo: Because everybody didn’t get enough of having a box of accessories during the Wii era. Now let’s dowgrade the quality from plastic to cardboard so you feel slightly less bad about the mountain of space taken up by cheap things that have prescisely one use.

> Looks at Horizon: Zero Dawn

BotW isn't even the best game in its genre to come out in 2017, much less the best game of the year in any respect. As others have stated, Mario was actually the best Nintendo game of 2017 by a decent margin, and having played both, deep into Mario and over 40 hours on BotW before beating it, I have no trouble agreeing to that wholeheartedly. BotW was a good first stab at true open world. Nintendo has a lot to learn though, and this cons...

There are fairly obvious differences in the fact that the Switch is clearly running the game at a lower resolution. Textures are a bit more muddy, edges aren't as smoothed, and the world as a whole is simply less sharp in a noticeable way. I mean, even the fade outs are a little jumpy on the Switch version.

Are any of these differences crippling? Not at all. This will still be a fun way of taking it on the go for those who don't own a Vita. Like many other ports to ...

I'm sure it will. My Hero Academia is killing it with the anime and manga both east and west, and with Bamco's heavy localization of western appealing anime games, this is bound to make it.

I dunno. I played it as a review title back when it came out, and I just wasn't terribly impressed. It was certainly alright, but I got genuinely bored in many of the environments that outlived their welcome. I didn't find the story captivating enough to warrant the lacking exploration of environments that were grand at first but tedious when played. The fact that you could only run from the monsters made enough sense, but once you got the trial and error figured out, it was less scar...

This isn't a game that strikes me as needing a "Safe" mode. The monster interactions were fairly easy to navigate, and they were also the only exciting part about the game. Overall, SOMA was kind of dull, and removing the only part that really engages the player seems like a huge mistake.

Even if it was gone forever, it's a pretty lazy mobile iteration of a larger IP. The Rayman mobile games are way better and should have been the standard Nintendo went by in determining proper content and pricing for Super Mario Run.
