Bruce has publicly stated why he left...
Bruce and Amy made great games together but they've also had had some major creative differences which he likely hasn't forgotten about - this is the reason he left the AAA industry in the first place.
Bruce and Neil threw out 8 months worth of recording work on Uncharted 4 after Hennig left and the story had to be rewrote. They only had 2 years to work on U4 and he's stated the stress of this made him give up on AAA games.
If he and Druckmann...
ND are rumoured to be working on a new IP and have given Uncharted to a different studio, so you'll have something new soon enough. They usually make a new IP each gen on average but the PS3 generation went on for a long time (2 new IPs). Games take longer to make now. You may as well think of TLOU as a PS4 franchise since it was out on the PS4 within a year and most people played it there.
Whether you like it or not, ND objectively took some pretty big risks with TLOU2...
60fps would be appreciated
Ubisoft used to innovate and make great games. Now that the top manager has been fired for misconduct (we know that he essentially managed all of the games and turned down lots of interesting ones) we might actually see the company return to its old ways. Only time will tell.
I'd prefer if EA got them over 2K, tbh. 2K's micro-transactions are way worse.

"As we all know, XB BC is more robust with options compared to the PS5"
While this is technically true in very specific cases (120fps in Modern Warfare), I don't think this is the reason for the disparity.
The best way to think about it is that there is a multiplier of maybe 2.5 for performance when it comes to running games in backwards compatibility. It's just brute force. The original One X version scaled higher ...
It seems like they're just making adjustments to the One X and Pro versions (allowing higher upper bounds). Only so much is possible using this basic approach. It likely didn't require much effort or money to do this and it's better than nothing.
The full power of these consoles isn't even available when playing games in backwards compatibility. Actual PS5 and Series X versions would be closer in resolution and framerate.
If you shoot and turn around, every civilian disappears. The police just spawn right beside you and inside walls (inferior to GTA3 on PS2). Civilians once panicked never move. If enemies start shooting the cops, they won't react to you if you start shooting them. The world is less dynamic than most open world games because the AI is too basic. Traffic can't navigate obstacles on the road. The PC version is also very glitchy. Loads of promised features were cut.

I don't really agree with downplaying the success of any of the big 3 but while Nintendo's games are great ... their hardware is not. Their consoles are usually quite cheap to make (that's their philosophy) and are sold at a high profit relative to manufacturing costs. The Wii was basically just a repackaged GameCube. The PS3 and the PS5 in particular are the opposite of this. In terms of hardware, Nintendo are definitely the cheeseburger of the industry. The PS5 is outselling the...
I'd have to agree. It felt like 200 side missions sellotaped together with very dynamic gameplay. Not necessarily bad and I can see why many love it but it didn't meet many of the standards of previous entries.
Its lack of memorable missions (never felt like anything crazy or particularly scripted could actually happen during gameplay - each of the acts in MGS4 were extremely memorable), minimal voice acting for Venom Snake, mediocre boss fights, the forgettable mai...
At the time, MGS2 really did disappoint a lot of people (MGS3 sold much less because of it) while others thought it was one of the best games ever made. It's sort of like TLOU2 in that way (switch to a different character, not what many expected - people thought it would end in some epic battle between Liquid and Solid Snake like in MGS4) except none of the reaction was political or performative.
It took a big swing and some despised the story and the switch to Raiden w...

"over praising the game while slyly using bait tactics to try to start some massive argument yet play victim when those said comments get done for spam"
You haven't responded to my comments for a while after I pointed out that you lied about not knowing who TheQuartering was. Keep playing dumb. You know that those comments got "done for spam" because they were spam. It's that simple. LakebottomB was a spam account that...
@potatoseal
Look at the comments in this thread left by LakebottomB (an account that was made about half and hour ago). Genuinely weird behaviour. Due to the amount of times that we've pointed this stuff out, it's no longer possible for commenters to claim that the use of spam accounts to attack this game is some "grand conspiracy" though
Agreed. Some people don't seem to be taking it very well though.
For example, I pointed out a few hours ago that someone was using spam accounts to bombard the comment section with dislikes. I angered the person who's doing it by calling this behaviour out (he probably wants people to think that the dislikes are real) and he responded predictably. Look at the comments from LakebottomB - an account was made 20 minutes ago. It's actually pathetic.
It's a certainly a bit strange, but I suppose we all have our own tastes. I'll let it pass because Hotline Miami is on the list. haha
