I don't know why people can't approach that topic with any nuance. American police proportionately kill civilians at an extremely high rate compared to other developed nations - it's almost non-existent by comparison. Black people factually receive a disproportionate amount of this, but all races are affected by it.

"Killing thousands of mens" sounds more like Drake, tbh. haha
Tbh, now that MS are acquiring Bethesda it's hard for me to get excited for Deathloop because they could refuse to release any sequels on PS5. It looks cool but I don't want to start a series knowing that I might not be able to finish it (Hellblade came first to PS4 but I suppose it's a somewhat different situation).
Sucks but until MS clearly explain their plans for Betheada, I'm not going to bother. The Xbox division by itself could've never bought Bet...
I disagree. Tbh, I think you believe that players don't want an Easy Mode out of malice (to be exclusionary) but there are legitimate reasons why people really don't want it.
The thing about games that have difficulty at their foundation like the Souls games or Hotline Miami is that everything is designed with that difficulty in mind - it's the whole point of the game. Removing that difficulty altogether (the foundation of the game) would result in a largely hol...
The movement system was so much fun before they nerfed Pathfinder though.

You have a point, but c'mon, Nintendo fanboys proved during the Wii and Wii U eras that they're the most over the top - I think we all remember wonderfulmonkeyman dismissing EVERY third party and indie game ... until some came to the Switch. "Gameplay not graphics!" was a very disingenuous excuse for those consoles missing out on 90% of the best games from those generations because they were underpowered.
I think it's important to point out though that...
Exclusivity to boost console sales is definitely not the reason this purchase was approved. The numbers don't add up.
The PS4 was the most profitable console in gaming history ( https://www.gamesradar.com/... ) and the PS division still doesn't have the money to buy Bethesda. The PS division itself made $1.6 billion in profit in 2018, for e...
@Nyxus
You provided a good link. Bethesda's games being multiplatform would be the most ideal outcome, and their language indicates something close to this unless they're just all lying to make the acquisition easier to approve.
Microsoft's ultimate goal is for GamePass to be the Netflix of gaming and you need enough studios to create regular content for a service like that. That's the main reason they're buying Bethesda (loads of good...
It means that they're confident. Always a good sign.
Not a bad decision. Playing it on PS5 already fixes the framerate (perfect 60fps) but now they can fix the load times as well (just selecting "RETRY" puts you in a fairly long load time).
I don't think the graphics will change much but there will at least be a higher resolution and improved rumble. What I really want is 60fps CTR though. I don't care if it's just a simple patch or an actual PS5 version either.
That's actually not true, tbh.

I mostly agree with you. Criticising a Chinese game just for being Chinese and making political points against it is like criticising God Of War for the 1 million civilians killed during the Iraq War just because it's American.
I strongly disagree with "China ain't perfect but no country is" though. I don't think you thought much about that statement because you also said you're not one to defend China, but you really don't have to frame China&...
Yeah. Hopefully after the initial release Silksong will come to other platforms as well. Probably a Hades situation.
Rocket League's core gameplay loop was always excellent though and never changed much. I think this game's gameplay will need to evolve a lot, e.g. modes with weapons strapped to cars like Twisted Metal.
Remedy seem like they'd be relatively cheap - a very good return on investment.
A BluePoint acquisition is likely around the corner.
Probably can't acquire FromSoftware from their owners since they're so profitable, and Sony just helped their owners avoid a hostile takeover.
Depends on how you look at it, tbh. The first 4 games had far better and more memorable level design, boss fights and set pieces. MGS5 feels and plays a bit better than MGS4 but it's missing so much of what made the previous games fun to me. Even Peace Walker had lots of mech boss fights. I always thought they were saving the interesting boss designs for MGS5.
MGS5 feels like a series of side missions where almost EVERYTHING that can happen is system based. MGS4 was ver...
I can see it now:
"Forbes: Japan unites to defeat Microsoft, and Phil Spencer thinks that's great"
I don't think so, tbh. I don't have much knowledge of any of these companies but it seems like Kadokawa is trying to avoid a hostile takeover from another company (Kakao).
This alliance relates heavily to anime as well which is produced by a different division of Sony.
You don't think that GTA5 was wacky as well? None of those games have a protagonist anywhere near as crazy as Trevor.

Stopped buying new Ubisoft games a while ago, even on sale. The quality of their games has fallen so much (minimal personality, just a product), and they've fallen far below EA and Activision to me (at least they've had Sekiro, Crash 4, Pro Skater 1 + 2, Fallen Order, Titanfall 2).
They're making great money from their single-player games. I was kind of interested in Immortals after a long break from Ubisoft games, but what's the point? Supporting it won...
