Destroy All Humans 2's gameplay has aged a lot better than the first game for me personally, so I'm really excited for this.
It has multiple cities from all over the world to destroy, crazier weapons, and destroying all humans (the open world rampages) was way more fun. Used to go on rampages for hours. Being next gen only, maybe they can increase the amount of NPCs for more carnage as well.

I tried out the beta for Vanguard on PS5 and it has the worst lag I've ever experienced (not being hyperbolic). People died 5 seconds after I shot them, most bullets wouldn't register, objects in the background like trees were popping out of existence, etc.
I've had no issues with lag on anything else I've played online recently either.
It sucks that some people were or still are genuinely worried about getting the new model because of Austin Evan's video.

Open world rampages are a lot better in the second game.
Watching footage of this made me feel some "The Nightmare Before Christmas" nostalgia (definitely intended). It looks like a lot of fun, and should be getting more attention, tbh.

Sure, it's in the same universe as Spider-Man, but it's still its own thing and violence will help set the brawler gameplay apart from Spider-Man.
More importantly, they know that it's going to get compared to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game (just like their Spider-Man would be compared to older Spider-Man games) and Logan, and they won't want to come up short.
Kind of surprised that Amy Hennig and Gary Whitta are responsible for that dialogue. They've written some good stuff.
It is only a trailer so maybe the corny dialogue will be used sparingly and to good effect in the actual game, and the trailer was hopefully just overloaded with it.

Spider-Man 2 is for 2023, and Wolverine will be after that, so I assume they will be PS5 only. Maybe I'm being a bit naive though.
It would be pretty bad if we're still getting cross gen games at that point. They were mostly gone after around 2 years for the PS4 (MGS5 is the last non sports one I remember). I hope GOW2 is the last one this gen.

I suppose the issue for some of the third party games is just overexposure. Deathloop (already had a dedicated State Of Play), GTA5, Guardians of the Galaxy and Rainbow Six Extraction would be good examples of that.
Games like Forspoken, Project Eve, and Wonderlands were a better fit. We've seen limited or no gameplay of those games (Project Eve was just newly announced).
