The games in these sales lists are filled with a lot of single player games. That's nice to see because ... it's not always that way.

It Takes Two is also at No.9 in the EU on PS5 - that's great.

Nice to see TLOU2 at No.4 on PS4 (both regions). I'd like a native version before Factions. A lot of people are playing the remake with nice Dualsense features and then jumping into TLOU2 which is missing those. They should fix that - ideally befo...

It isn't accurate at all though.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Release Date: Oct 26, 2018
Metacritic: 97 (7th highest rated game of all time)
Main character: straight white male protagonist.

Days Gone
Release Date: Apr 26, 2019 (exactly 6 months later)
Metacritic: 71
Main character: straight white male protagonist

Rico is definitely an asshole. lol

He messed up everything at the end of Killzone 2.

The fast porting time to PC relative to other PS exclusives indicates to me that ... Factions is close.

This is a positive development. They might actually fix Syndicate so
1) it's playable and
2) the flickering won't give people epilepsy attacks

I'm pretty sure that I added Syndicate on the PS Store on the PS5 (through PS Plus Extra), not the web app.

Some unsuspecting person with epilepsy could easily suffer a seizure from trying to play this game on their subscription. Fingers crossed that they fix it.

Unless there's new Nintendo hardware ... is this a good idea? lol.

There's valid reasons for these games not being ported. Think of the file size alone.

Redout 2 feels like a game made for people who love and play a lot of arcade racing games.

I read reviews saying that even the tutorial levels were too hard ... I easily breezed through them. lol. Maybe it just isn't a pleasant experience for casual players. idk.

To be fair, I used the Wipeout control layout on Redout 1, and found using the right stick very strange, but I'm trying to get used to using it this time.

Have you ever played Unbounded (Ridge Racer: Unbounded)?

It's not really a Ridge Racer game at all (it was made by the developers of Wreckfest).

There's shortcuts and parts of the map you can blow up that are Split/Second-esque (e.g. speed through a tanker that blows up all nearby racers).

It has takedowns like Burnout (the car and environment destruction is really good). There's frag events which revolve around takedowns ...

I'll also add that the Dualsense implementation helped compensate for issues I had with Borderlands 3 (e.g. some poor writing). It's just a lot more fun.

Now if you don't like it, that's fine but it does change the experience significantly, and that shouldn't be downplayed.

I hope we see a controller with Dualsense features on the Series X so these implementations get even better.

Orchard, the opinion being put forward is no more controversial or hard to understand than someone saying that 3D is the best part of Avatar, and that they loved it.

If it massively adds to the movie like that, then it essentially becomes part of the movie.

"We watch movies, not 3D" would be a weird response in the case of Avatar. The effect it had on the experience can't really be downplayed. This situation is the same thing, except unlike ...

Yeah, the way the dodging is implemented undermines the horror a lot (it also breaks the Two-Head boss battle).

Dead Space wouldn't have been that scary if you were constantly walking up to Necromorphs and beating them to death. lol. The player should want to maintain distance (the horror comes when you can't), and shouldn't feel invulnerable.

Melee should be more dangerous and risky if you want a game to be unnerving.

It sh...

Correction to my comment: the next console will probably be like the "New 3DS".

There will be some games that are exclusive and take advantage of the hardware but it will technically still be counted as Switch sales.

"despite being on the market for half the time"

The PS4 hasn't been on the market for twice as long as the Switch. It's only 3 years older (6 vs 9 years).

In general, I think you might be looking at this in a flawed way. It's not selling twice as fast as the PS4 did up to this point.

The PS4 achieved most of its sales in the first 6 years (the Switch is currently 6 years old), and then the sales plummeted after the...

"further entries"

Yeah, further entries in franchises like Tony Hawk, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, etc (traditionally PS franchises) will almost certainly be removed from PS unless concessions are forced for those franchises.

WindowsCentral puts out the lowest form of journalism (corporate hype pieces), if you could even call it that.

"Increasingly, the FTC's position looks like politically motivated posturing, and largely untenable."

That's great, and it's good to see that Activision Blizzard's appeal to try nullify these votes was denied.

I'm always amazed that a decent amount of people really do get tricked into hating unions and rally against their own self-interests. It's always sad to see. There's a reason non-union members have significantly lower median wages - unions work. That's why people like Bezos try so hard to clamp down on them and effectively ban them, and why...

The performance in this game is actually disgraceful. It's good that this review didn't let these devs off the hook - fix your game.

Are there really no optimizations that they can make to get this run decently?

It seems to be running 2160p - just add a performance mode at 1440p and it will be far more enjoyable for most people. Their approach is just strange.

I kind of wish their was a PS4 version because running in BC, it wou...

This game easily has the worst framerate I've seen in a PS5 game (can dip from a smooth 60 to 20-40 just because you're moving the camera).

The devs need to provide an option to lower the resolution or something. Messing with the FOV can noticeably improve the framerate, lol.

From the hour I've played of it, I did quite like it but ... please patch the game and provide options.

I personally cannot recommend the game to an...
