Just judged on its own merits (a cross between Burnout and Split/Second with some good destruction and fun drifting), Unbounded is extremely underrated.
If it was just called "Unbounded", I think people would look back on it much more fondly but it annoyed Ridge Racer fans (which I understand) so they trashed it, and it's a mostly forgotten game now. It's a shame - the game deserves more fans.

Obviously, it's an extremely cheap knock-off, but I think the combat is inspired by Days Gone. When the zombies get close, you roll or jog away and make some distance, turn around and shoot them (particularly going for headshots), rinse and repeat. And the zombies are always pretty close behind trying to swarm you.
True. Stalker 2, Crossfire X (lol), The Medium, Sable, Yakuza: Like a Dragon (timed exclusive next-gen version) are some recent examples off the top of my head. Both MS and Sony do this, and MS relied on this tactic WAY more heavily than Sony and Nintendo in past gens because they didn't have many first party studios.

IW made Infinite Warfare and Ghosts (one of the worst COD games ever) as well, and MW3 was way less fun than MW2. Modern Warfare 2019 was a comeback for them (it still had big issues like barely any maps, camping, etc), and they really struggled for a decade after Vince Zampella left.

At launch, the game library icon was on the left end instead of the right end. This feature would be so much better if it was still like that. It's annoying that you have to keep scrolling to the right to see all of your installed and digital games, over and over again.
On PS4, you could just tap R1 and it would go all the way to the right but that's missing on PS5. At least tapping O brings you all the way to the left like L1 did, I suppose.

There are different types of NFS fans. Hot Pursuit 2010 was fantastic.
I want Criterion to do what they do best - fast, aggressive, arcade racing. The last 3 NFS games were so dull and poorly made (some people insist that NFS Heat is great).

Yeah, the American games media ran 10 times the amount of critical articles on the unfairness of a Spider-Man DLC than they have on MS pumping ~$80b into acquisitions to remove truckloads of IP from other systems. In fact, they've been mostly positive about it. lol
