I don't think that's actually true. THQ Nordic volunteered to distribute it on disc. https://gamerant.com/thq-no...
And Alan Wake Remastered is on disc.
Might be because digital sales are more profitable.
It's likely the publisher's decision (Epic), not theirs. It is strange though.
I wonder what percentage of people who prefers discs still bought it and how many sales were lost.
The "over 50% more copies part" is still a comparison of the overall sales.
This would mean that Control sold around maybe 850,000 copies in the same timeframe.
Finally, Resistance: Retribution 🔥
It's an alright month overall. I think Sony should try to more consistently get some high quality indies Day 1 in the service, e.g. Ultros would have been good. Those have usually been some of the better months, e.g. Stray, Sea Of Stars, Tchia.
Shame that for this version of Outer Worlds, you can't import your save. 😔 Truly Spacer's Choice
Native PS5 and Series versions at 60fps (or even just a patch) would be appreciated.
Some devs don't seem to understand how much extra revenue and buzz they'd generate with a simple 60fps patch.
Particularly this one because it's a first person game with intentionally clunky combat until your character improves which takes time.
To be fair, GTA is a satirical series.
A fairly reasonable ranking. MGS3 and MGS1 are the ones that I love the most as well.
MGS1 has the best setting, atmosphere and soundtrack. MGS3 is overall the best entry. MGS2 arguably has the best ending (very memorable).
I feel like a lot of people have been bullied out of saying that they love MGS4 though. lol. YouTube video essays honestly suck the fun out of everything. "Raiden becoming a cyborg ninja is ... awful writing" ... then they t...
What server restrictions?
Nah, IGN got a review code for Gotham Knights ahead of release and still gave that a 5/10 too.
You're implying that they otherwise wouldn't be honest but ... we've already seen so many of these types of games like Fallout 76 (5/10), Redfall (4/10), Gotham Knights (5/10), Marvel's Avengers (6/10), Anthem (6.5/10), Babylon's Fall (4/10), etc score very unfavourably with IGN and critics in general, review codes or not.
Suicide Squad is ul...
Did they actually get a review code though or just rush to publish one of the first reviews? The game is out in early access. Not 100% sure but I don't think any outlet got a code earlier than the early access period. 832d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment
Yeah, single-player game engagement drops off quick in general. God Of War on PC, for example, seems to have dropped 70% in 2 weeks on Steam (this is direct data of the whole audience) when for the PC audience it was actually a new game. https://steamcharts.com/app...
And this is a remaster of one with a cheap upgrade for existing players. It obviously will not have the same engagement as a new ga...
Rollerdrome is an amazing game. Bought it Day 1 and would really like a sequel.
Haze is a bad game but Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty makes it seem like a captivating work of art. haha. Fuck that game
Shellshock 2: Blood Trails isn't on this list but it might be the worst game I've ever played. I got it as a present from my mam and when I saw the box, my life flashed before my eyes thinking of the Metacritic score: ht...
Even weirder, Take Two owns the rights to the Max Payne IP and Remedy are doing Max Payne remakes.
This must be incredibly awkward.
It's solid but Origins is definitely not the best Arkham game.
Crazy that they still haven't fixed the analog input being limited to just 8 directions for MGS1. Glad I didn't buy it.
PS1 games tend to pale in comparison to PS2 games though. It might be the single biggest leap in game quality which in itself is transformative. I think there's a good argument for that jump too.
And SD->HD was an incredible time, not just for graphics but for gameplay possibilities and physics due to a much stronger CPU. Even mediocre games felt very impressive and "THIS LOOKS LIKE REAL LIFE!" was a common sentiment. haha
So I think all ...
Got no points recently after spending €140. 🗿
Would hope when Sony fixes this that I'll get the points for that.
The second NaughtyDog show their next game, I think we all know that any concern about them leaving a mark will be gone. NaughtyDog publicly stated that they're working on multiple big single player games and when they're shown off they'll be closer to release. Demoing TLOU2 3 years early caused some crunch so they're avoiding that now.

Disagree. Halo Infinite's playercount on Steam may be low now but it was massive at launch.
Halo just didn't maintain that playerbase because it had 5/6 maps and was barebones in general back then. And people lost patience with the extremely slow pace of updates for a GAAS game. They wasted a big opportunity because the core gameplay was good and the game is in a good state now.
Helldivers 2 hitting Infinite's initial peak is impressive, espe...
