It's reviewing quite well. It's at an 86 right now: https://www.metacritic.com/...
I loved the first game.
For people who need to use converters like the Brook Wingman XB2 like me, this policy is awful. Just read my prior comments to see why in more detail (my hands are screwed up). I'm so annoyed about this.
The game hasn't been out even 2 weeks. Jesus Christ. Take down this spoiler article off N4G or at least give a warning in the title or something.
Even IGN doesn't post spoilers for clicks to this extent. I can see that only 1 person approved this.
100% agree. For people who need to use converters like the Brook Wingman XB2 like me, this policy is awful.
I've said on N4G for years that my hands are screwed up because of tenosynovitis and I have to use a controller I've customised, TENS machine to reduce pain, I've gotten cortisone shots before, etc.
The amount of money I've wasted customising controllers, replacing parts just trying to have something usable is insane. I'm envious...
It's going to be weird having 2 of the platform holders having "Play" in the name of their consoles.
"Nintendo Super Play"Station
They couldn't competently port a HD collection where 95% of the work was already done for them by Bluepoint. DigitalFoundry confirmed that they actually made it worse.
A port of MGS4 could be an unholy disaster, tbh, so I'm going to assume it'll be terrible for now and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out decent.
Based off the laziness of Volume 1, MGS4 could run at 720p, 30fps but they might be generous and give us 1080p. lol
So you're happy that people with hand issues like me won't be able to use our specialized controllers (that make it possible for us to play games) on our Xbox's anymore? Why? You're not obliged to defend bad decisions just because you prefer one platform over another.
The Brook adaptors provide a great service.
Agreed. Putting aside how this negatively affects me, this is going to screw over the fighting game community and gamers with physical disabilities who use controllers more specific to their needs.
Please post online and put pressure on Xbox to reverse this decision, guys.
I use the Brook Wingman on the Series X so I can use a customised Dualsense (can't use the standard controller for either console) because my hands are missed up due to tenosynovitis. This announcement took a massive shit on my day.
I don't know what I'm going to do. It's definitely affected. https://twitter.com/brookga...

Yeah, Earth in Starfield was even going to be the one from Fallout at one point. https://www.purexbox.com/ne... And the new IP I brought up (Elden Ring) is basically Dark Souls 4.
Not many new IPs in general from big studios anymore just like the film industry. It's sad.
I would say that Returnal and Hi-Fi Rush are the...
@Christopher
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sparky forgot about Elden Ring and its success and then just didn't want to admit that he's wrong. lol
@MrNinosan
I almost wrote "sold" as "SOLD" to make that point and now I regret not doing it. :(
Yeah, there is a big difference between sales and players.
That being said, I think the sales for Starfield are still good because of the PC players. The ...
Elden Ring was bigger. It sold 12 million in 2 weeks.
It just works for a few weeks.
No. The difficulty was nerfed for all players (the game has no difficulty options). It literally is about difficulty. This wasn't an accessibility option which would be perfectly fine but that's a different topic.
The main reasons for this existing are to cash in on sales from Season 2 of the TV show (they'll likely release near each other) and because they're porting it to PC anyway.
I doubt it will be that much different, tbh, but the PS5 Pro isn't required for some improvements. Upgrading games in backwards combability mode has limitations versus a proper native app. A proper Director's Cut like what Death Stranding got could be cool but ... I don't we'll g...
Strong sales for Baldur’s Gate 3.
@Notellin
Fair enough. Just to be clear, I was defending Cyberpunk because he was saying it can't even be compared to Starfield without really justifying why.
I knew you could look around during conversations but I didn't know you could walk around in most. I was thinking of a scene in the promotional material where you're sitting in a diner with Jackie, I think. I suppose for those specific types of scenes, besides your head, you can't mo...
"Going into a cutscene or having control taken from you to watch a character do something that you can't even do yourself is just as outdated."
I haven't played Cyberpunk yet (seems to be fully finished now so I'll play it soon) but when going through dialogue options, it has a somewhat similar setup to Starfield, right? The animations, focus of the frame and backdrops just look a lot better.
"It's simply to block cheating devices. No more XIM! Worth it!! Fantastic move!!!"
I've seen some variation of this comment many times. People casually dismissing the negative effects this ban will have on people and claiming the intention was just to stop cheating devices.
100% confirmed to be false.
Doesn't seem like Xbox is changing course, unfortunately.
