Can't wait. It has a very Jak & Daxter vibe to it.
Fuck yes. *Cough* I mean, cool. Can't wait.
If you acknowledge Andromeda's flaws and how disappointing it is, you have autism? Personally, I don't care and I haven't made a big fuss about it but what you're saying is moronic. Andromeda's flaws are not the "smallest things". There so obvious that they're actually hilarious at times.
The towers were always really fun in AC though since it was heavily focused on climbing. They just felt dumb in games like The Crew.
Nintendo fanboys make their own reality. lol.
Truth be told, I'm just making a joke. A lot of people pan and dismiss games if they have a handful of glitches and then point to Nintendo and note how their games don't have many glitches. However, a lot of that is to do with a lack of complexity on the technical side in most Nintendo games. They're quite simple (not talking about gameplay depth).
Breath Of The Wild is way more complex (open-world game with a lot of systems) than the average Nintendo game and ...
Nintendo games don't have glitches though. /s
Been watching Bill &Ted's Excellent Adventure, have we?
To top things off cutscenes in Horizon that weren't dynamic (no choices) were also perfect and had zero problems (near-Uncharted level presentation). There's huge problems with the voice acting, the animation and the way the cutscenes are clipped together in Andromeda. I mean, just look at the eyes. They literally wobble.
The team that worked on this game previously worked on the Army Of Two games (The 40th Day being the only above-average entry). It's a new Bioware studio (used to be EA Montreal). The Bioware we know is actually working on a new IP. This explains a lot.
Looks really fun.
Greg screwed Colin. That is all.
I'm playing it on Hard although I can easily increase it to Very Hard (no trophies for difficulty and you can just switch it in the Pause Menu). I only brought up the melee combat because the enemies really tend to rush you (especially the Human AI) and if they have low health, a melee strike is very effective. Maybe it's my own fault, but because the Watchers are so weak if they attack I just instinctively melee them. Otherwise I just kill them with a head-shot.

For some reason, I'm not really enjoying the game. Maybe it's because I'm feeling a bit sick right now but a lot of the gameplay isn't really clicking with me (the larger robot fights are pretty good though and the story and the characters are great). I'm already bored of melee combat and fighting Humans and Watchers.
Everyone else loves the game so I kind of feel like the odd one out on this one. I know some morons like to troll but I've played abo...
And btw, if people are wondering this was my only real issue with the game. The Main Missions and the story have been really good so far (they often have an Uncharted-like quality to them) and the characters are generally well developed. The Watchers are very easy to kill but the larger enemies are pretty fierce. I didn't think I was going to like Alloy as much as I do but she's a very sympathetic character. I really love how you see the first stage of her life before you even reach t...
If I have one problem with the open-world, it's that it takes way too long to give you travel options. In the first few hours, there's a lot of running around until you get the ability to override the machines.
@madforaday
Yeah, you basically do. Local co-op is great. You could just play mp though.
It's an insanely fun game, although it needs more content. I'm having a great time with it. The premise of this review is definitely a bit contrived.
To be fair, there is actually a bit of crossover between the Witcher team and the Horizon team. There's a reason Guerilla games suddenly have a game with good writing when that has been an area they've always struggled in. I think it's a fair comparison but it is true that we've seen a lot of clickbait articles on Horizon lately.
@SardoNumspa I'm not sure I agree with the Hardcore Player comment. Personally, I enjoy trophies but I find that instead of playing a game 3 times, looking through a guide for collectibles, etc I'd rather just play another game. For me, trying to attain Platinums is when trophies tend to stop being fun and become monotonous, asking you to do things that you would never actually want to do. Most of my platinums simply weren't fun so I gave up on the entire concept.
