I'd really love if they got Spiderman, Detroit: Become Human (I need something to keep me occupied while I wait for Westworld Season 2) and Days Gone out next year. I think things are getting a bit ridiculous if those are 2018 games. I expect GOW to be Spring 2018.
This is a damn good sale. Jesus.
If it is the best PC game of the year in their opinion though, are they supposed to just not give the award to Dishonored 2? I understand the point that this article is putting forward, but at the same time, Dishonored 2 didn't get that much attention either and it really deserves it. It's a game that a lot of PC players should play and would love.
This game absolutely blew me away when I first played it. Perfect controls, amazing story, art and atmosphere. It's easily in my Top 5 games that I've ever played. These sorts of games (focusing on acrobatics and wall traversal) are my favorite type of platformers (Jak & Daxter was awesome as well).
They really need to make another one. I actually enjoyed Forgotten Sands and PoP 2008 quite a bit.
I played MGS2 years after release with low expectations (considering it was the sequel to MGS1) and it still disappointed me. MGS3 blew me away. I could see why someone might love MGS2 though. The last first and last few hours of the game were awesome.
MGS5. The PS3 and 360 versions run at 30FPS.
Crash fans made their voice heard. If you want a remaster of Jumping Flash, you need to do the same and tell the company who made it or now has the rights to do a remaster. Get some fans together in some sort of community and go after it. These remasters were a huge hassle for Sony to organise, but they couldn't ignore the demands of the fans and it was worth it.
And Jumping Flash and Crash Bandicoot are barely comparable. That's like dissing Jak & Daxter with...
Well, to be fair, it is. It's incredibly well done from impressions and from what we've seen.
I was very excited to see him in this game. What a great actor.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and the newer Most Wanted were WAY better than Carbon. They were really fun games.
This article should be titled "Ramblings of a hipster". Ok, you don't like AC or Ubisoft. Fine. You think you have better taste than everyone else. Fine.
But a lot of this article is just nonsense and its filled with so much stupidity that its actually hard to read. Regarding who did a next-gen open world first,"Sorry to disappoint R* fans but UBISOFT got there first. You know it’s true." Rockstar take their time. What Rockstar fan (or anybody, for t...
I actually think they should keep that. It's more engaging than just holding a button for large distances like you do in, lets say, Saints Row.
A contingent of Nintendo fans have been some of the biggest detractors of ports and remasters from old to next gen consoles, e.g. The Last Of Us Remastered. It will be interesting to see if they stick to their guns on this issue.
Personally, I think ports of some of Nintendo's best games from last gen (Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Splatoon, etc) is an excellent idea. Not everyone had a Wii U and it will instantly have a library of appealing, great games. But yeah, it'll ...
It's pretty bad that hardcore FANS of snowboarding games are opting not to pick this up.
A great game with the perfect pricing for a remaster. I'll probably pick this up pretty quickly (I feel like supporting the reborn THQ).
Prince Of Persia.
I really have to give it to Nintendo (and I'm usually quite harsh on them). This really is a nice little idea. I think a lot of us have had cheap emulator consoles, but it is so much better having a higher quality, official solution. It's also a succinct, effective of showing younger kids what games used to be like, for better or worse.
Watch Dogs 2 certainly looks like a huge improvement, across the board. From what I can tell, most of what I disliked about the first game has been fixed: the driving now looks really fun (I think we can thank the Driver: San Francisco guys for that), it has more personality, the city has more colour (it's not just a drab grey) and variety, and apparently, the story and dialogue is quite good. I know a lot of people are irritated that some of the characters may be "hipsters", bu...
@Kribwalker
Both great games no doubt, but I don't think it's that cut and dry. There's a lot of great arcade racing games out there (Burnout 3 + Revenge, Driver: San Francisco, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Split/Second, Blur, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Wipeout HD, Flatout, Ridge Racer: Unbounded, Dirt Showdown, Midnight Club, etc). I think you would also be ignoring a lot of great racing games if you were to say those 2 racing games were definit...
How can an analyst be so uninformed? How the hell is he making firms money?
