"Its pretty much the best first person exclusive on consoles"
- In your view
OT: Haven't played the multi in a while, but it was the most entertaining campaign in the series since Reach for me!
That's fair. I'm just saying that I can see why it happens. In GT topics, the same thing occurs. Forza (or even Project CARS) is brought up. Just the nature of the beast.
@ OB1: Well, it's the internet (and specifically N4G). Many people will just Agree or Disagree without truly trying to understand what you're saying. But yes, anyone reasonable can see the common sense behind it. So thank you for understanding!
No different than when comparable games are brought up in other instances. Doesn't mean the game is great (particularly as you nor I have even played it).
So it's no surprise that it is brought up in a discussion about P.CARS 2.
Totally agree regarding similarities of environment between this and GT. On top of that, GT:S and P.CARS 2 have better looking cars than their competition, as well. However, Forza still looks sharper (crisper) than the other two (on PC, I expect it to best the other two overall), so it's a bit of a toss up. Of the three, GT:S excites me the most (love Gran Turismo's driving), but I very much am looking forward to all three of them!
I just take his arguments apart. Much more fun than just letting him "get to you". ;)
Uh, not all exclusives will be available on PlayStation Now. So no. It's not going to be presented at a show as a brand new title that will be available on PlayStation Now. So he's right. Only console that it CAN be shown for is the only console will ever be available on.
You're talking nonsense. The amount of positive buzz the game has will far outweigh the talk of "QTE-snoozefests".
As far as sim racers on consoles, it's still the best in my eyes. I know the Project CARS team pats themselves on the back, but it's GT where I go for a real DRIVING experience. P.CARS is still a fantastic game, though (I've been playing since the beta).
GT: Sport
Days Gone
God Of War
The Last Of Us Part II
Detroit: Become Human
.....
I could continue, but I'll spare you any further humiliation.....Why one would DARE ask what other 5 AAA exclusives Sony has (out or on the way) is beyond me.
You are as hypocritical as it gets. Just stop.
OT: I never doubted this team, ESPECIALLY after the killer title named Killzone 2!
Yeah.....no.
OT: I'd be all for it! SOCOM is still one of those franchises that a "hidden gem" feel to it!
@ dcbronco:
Nonsense and excuse for what? Oh and ...

That dev must have been lying then. And.....

The Forza dev mentions that it's not...
Shocking post.......... -_-
OT: Anyway, in regards to what's relevant, GT:S looks like an improvement damage wise, but I do wish the manufacturers would allow for more detailed destruction. No matter the game. Would add that much more immersion.
Finally I agree with you on something! :P
Maybe I'm alone in this view, but it looks like a well polished, believable, current gen game. This far into the generation, I don't see why all the doubt exists. This isn't Crysis. It looks like what we should be achieving on the latter end of the 8th generation.
More like the PC, since that is where it is being built and will look the best.
No.
That makes twice that I hear this "Pro is floppin'" chit-chat. Based. On. What?
"PS4 Pro is not selling well"
Not that I should expect a reasonable (nor actual) response here, but based on what?
@ BLK: I said nothing about PlayStation. Even if I did, my viewpoint wouldn't be wrong. It's an opinion, after all.
