Indeed. Far more hate for it than praise. I mean, in some cases, I understand the griping - a few people really wanted more. That's fair. However, you'd think the game was broken, didn't perform well, looked bad, or had poor dialogue/storytelling, based on much of the bashing it received. The Order excelled at the mentioned variables, though, but because some people apparently didn't get what they expected, it was hammered into the ground.
Nothing wrong wit...
Yeah, seems a bit excessive. Also, a big issue with topics on The Order is it is often flooded with people that never played it who jump on a bandwagon (as seen in this very article). Paints a much worse picture of it than what many of us got.
"There is no combat"
You haven't played Hellblade.
@moldy: For you, I'm sure. But please don't lump yourself in with reasonable PS3 owners. You have no idea what "every owner" thought and you would find something negative to say even if Sony paid your bills. So stop.
@ FinalFantasy: I didn't. And that's my point, don't make assumptions based on silence. The Last Guardian is just an example.
Really. Games don't release on Saturdays and there have been other instances where the holder date wasn't in December. Thus, they've provided a placeholder like they often do.
Nah, it hasn't been cancelled. Last I heard, there was some development hurdles to get over for Capcom, but it was still chuggin' along.
@ Woolly_: I suggest you go infest other articles, pal. Majority of your posts are an absolute waste of time.
Some said the same of The Last Guardian. I'd give it more time before writing it off.
Placeholder. Amazon often does that.
One X is already well behind the PC (overall as a platform, not necessarily all individual gaming rigs). But even then, unless most gaming rigs out in the wild are less than, or up to, $500, the PC has absolutely no problems beating it now.
Depending on the cost, I agree. But, most PC gamers spend more than $500 on their rigs. Beyond that, too often, people compare consoles to PC without truly understanding what goes into a PC.
I don't buy AMD parts. Much prefer the Intel/NVIDIA route.
Getting the 7920X next month, 7980XE in Feb!
They would first have to take Japan and Europe. Until they can get real footholds in those markets, they will never beat Sony. They aren't just losing because they don't have the best versions of multiplatform games and less exclusives. Xbox just isn't as big a brand as PlayStation (not even close, in fact).
To change that image means they have to make MAJOR adjustments that ultimately will make people begin to forget that PlayStation even exists.
Well, no, because you're still talking about it :p
There doesn't have to be "console generation" between any current gen multiplatform games. Plus, the difference between the PS4 Pro and One X are nearly 1:1 with what we saw out of the originals of both consoles. Thus, One X versions of games should have obvious advantages over Pro titles. That's what I expect to see.
Forza 7 also releases on PC (and long before the One X and this expansion). In that regard, it's not really relevant.
Nah. The console is aimed at a smaller segment of the market. It's not going to suddenly turn billions of heads. The price, alone, will keep that from happening.
There will surely be differences. The X1X is more powerful, so that should go without saying. Whether "significant" or not is another matter. For example, the original Project CARS on PC looked better than the PS4 version, but it wasn't a complete shut-out (which was ironic, given P.Cars began as a PC exclusive).
Things could be different for the X1X, though.
Yup, well said!
