I think that these consoles will definitely close the performance gap more than the last few generations of consoles have and I think they may even lure some back to consoles from PC, provided the consoles do deliver on the performance being alluded to.

Obviously, PC will always have the lead where raw power is concerned, but its all about closing the gap enough to where the differences are less stark, the reality is, a tiny proportion of PC gamers have cutting edge PC'...

When you consider how much outsourcing of graphical assets goes to China from some pretty big studios, it should come as no surprise that Chinese developers can make something with visuals like this.

If a mainstream and dominant service like Netflix cannot turn a profit from a streaming service, then I just dont see how Gamepass will be.

MS will continue to pour resources into it for a few more years but will eventually scrap it like all their other projects I reckon.

Yup there have been some hilarious bugs shown on youtube etc 😂

I know some are super defensive, but honestly, I have been using flight sim in a serious way since 2004 and every iteration has always been super buggy.

Personally, I get less hung up on graphical glitches where textures, world mesh and/or object dont quite line up properly but that's because I generally fly for 10+ hour stretches above 33000 feet.

Worst company on the planet! Treat their staff like shit, killed the retail sector here in the UK, yet never pay a penny in taxes.

The got into gaming for the wrong reasons, just like Microsoft, they dont care about the industry per se, they merely want to profit from it.

But you are being entitled Gamer.

I can understand expecting a patch for a game released within a couple of months of the PS5 console release; it is in the interest of the devs if they hope to attract people to purchase their game when its released rather than waiting to play it on PS5.

Older games however, well I see no real justification for devs to be expected to put effort into an optional patch that merely offers a new version of the game (as opposed...

I bought the game when it launched as my son really wanted to play it, I just played and earned the platinum. I can understand people's gripes to a degree however, I buy games when they release fully understanding that the game will be halk the price within two or three months and that often, a game of the year edition will eventually launch too.

People buy games at launch because the want to play the game immediately rather than wait, so I don't buy the 'I sup...

I recall the excitement ment of my dad giving me his Atari 2600 for my bedroom when I was around 10 years old and I couldn't believe my luck.....that was until I saw what my dad had bought to replace it, the Commodore 64, I could barely believe what I was seeing 😂

I inherited that C64 a few years later and upgraded that to the Amiga which to this day, is still my favourite gaming system. Sadly, I don't have either of these anymore....... I gave them away to ...

I enjoy them personally, but I would prefer to see a balance to the advertising currently, where they give us some factual information as well as these conceptual advertisements.

@PheonixWing
It may be bad marketing if it were targeting a general consumer base, but Sony know very well that they are marketing to their core fanbase who are already excited for PS5. Early adopters of consumer electronics are almost always consist of fans of the brand.

This ain't going to be a popular opinion, but I would prefer a remastered release of Bloodborne rather than a patch. I realise that seems nuts but I am being selfish, I would need a reason to replay the game for a fifth time and the chance to earn the Platinum again would be just the ticket.

Personally, I don't think Deathloop enjoyed a huge mindshare in respect of being a huge launch titlel for PS5, certainly not enough to register as a dramatic disappointment that would need offsetting by another announcement anyway.

I am getting pretty fed up with all the cloak and dagger stuff from all of the console manufacturers to be honest, give us some bloody information on what you have coming up, it's getting pretty rediculous how secretive the industry is be...

These games are a big deal these days with all your major websites and many influencers excited for anything From Software related. I think this would cement PlayStation 5's position as the best option between the two newly launched consoles.

When you consider the excitement across the community for PS5 anyway and then add the excitement a new Souls game would generate on top of a new Spidey game, I just see PS5 getting the lions share off the interest and interest.

Yeah, that would be pretty huge and would definitely draw some who are on the fence to buy the console at launch instead of waiting. The Souls games are hugely attractive to many now and if a 'new' one is released exclusively then you have to think it will be all the justification anyone needs to adopt early.

Can't say I have any nostalgia for Battletoads and I always though it was a wierd game to choose to revive. Having said that, I think this looks like a fun title and personally, I really like the artstyle. It is a bit crazy how all over the place the reviews are though.

Its great to see a mini revival of the side scrolling beat em up, i have a copy of Streets of Rage 4 sat on the shelf I need to get too, but would like to give Battletoads a try at some point.

How the hell any self respecting website could put an article together based off what is clearly a placeholder date, is beyond me.

Just thinking about a sequel has my mouth watering, I loved the first game.

I guess we will see in 6 months from now. I expect some sort of '10 million people have downloaded it' statement from MS at some point, but honestly, I just dont see the majority of gamers using the sim in any longterm manner.

Once the novelty of the graphics wear off, it will be no more attractive than any of the flight Sims that have come before it.

I say this, not to bash MS Flight Simulator, but as someone who has been a harcore flight sim en...

I am sure people will dabble but the reality is, most will drop off after a few hours. The problem in the short term for flight simmers is that the default planes are so simply modeled in respect of their systems and procedures that they will only really enjoy it once the add on aircraft from 3rd parties start arriving.

I cannot go from a PMDG aircraft to the default planes, they just don't compare. I see me messing around in it, but when it come to my flights for my ...

Without question, my favourite ever gaming system....brings a tear to the eye just thinking about it.

To be honest, I dont think it's fair to say MSFT have always excelled at flight simulation, both 2004 and FSX required fairly hefty addons and tweaking of ini files to improve the physics in my experience. As for AI traffic, realistic weather, realistic ATC, realistic airports, global mesh and scenery, realistic lighting, MS were shit compared to the companies making the addons.

Other sims did the physics much better than Flight Sim over the last 10 years.
