The resolution is the least of the problems of the Xbox user interface, they have always done a poor job in my opinion.
It looks better the more I see of it, but I rarely play online games so I'll be skipping this. Moreover, it just cannot hold a candle to Demons Souls for me.
I am a bit of a old fart I suppose, insofar as I only buy digital if there is no physical version of a game available and even then I have been known to double dip if a physical version of a game I bought digitally comes out down the line.
Great shout there Raiden, what a fab series of games, imagine how immersive those games could be on the next gen consoles.
Really interested to see these new consoles running, I want to see the UI and the loading times and all the other stuff that we won't care about 6 weeks from now 😂

I will be waiting to get the Xbox for now, but to all those who are excited I can't help but feel excited for you. There is nothing quite like a new console and with all the turmoil in the world its nice to have something positive to focus on.

It says something to me when I am considering playing Miles Morales before Demons Souls, a game I have been wishing for for years. Insomniac are so talented and these Spidey games are pretty irresistible.
As for the face change, I simply dont understand people even thinking twice about it, honestly, how does this even register as a blip with all this real world stuff going on?
I am guessing Sony has filed to invalidate this person's existing PS5 registration so, as part of his defense, he is making a counter claim that Sony are infringing on his rights. It is interesting as proving reputational damage is typically really difficult, if this is his main defense rather than simple 'likelihood of confusion' then he is desperate I would suggest.
It would likely depend on how Sony sought protection in India.
I would imagine Sony files an international TM application at the World Intellectual Property Office. This means they applied through one application at WIPO and designate every country they intend to trade in, they then have to wait for each individual domestic registry to examine the trade marks. Some TM registries are quicker than others, it may be that Sony filed their international application at WIPO yea...
I dont buy FIFA myself as I dont like how they play and I am not a big sports game fan, however, I wouldn't call people sheep for buying the games. The monopoly of the FIFA licence enjoyed by EA goes a long way and is why people buy the game.
I can fully appreciate people wanting to use the authentic teams and use their favourite players, it doesn't make them sheep. It's one thing to dislike EA (and FIFA should face criticism too) but trying to label or shame ...
Actually Ted, the Japanese like international brands just fine, just ask Apple, the Japanese simply dont rate Xbox, that's all.
That's the whole point, these people creating a stink can choose to play their original PS4 version on their PS5, nobody is locking them out of playing the original game. That isn't enough for them though, they want something that took thousands of hours of work for free, as if their original purchase didn't already deliver enough value to them.

In fact, that is what's wrong with modern society, entitled people making a fuss on social media is almost always blown out of all proportion, and this is no different.
You can play your existing Spiderman on PS5, for example, so nobody is being forced to buy the remaster. Yeah, I remember really enjoying it and I especially recall liking how the relationship developed between the main characters. I really liked the art design too, it was nice and vibrant compared to all the brown games doing the rounds at the time. While the combat was a little 'button mashy', you could actually string some good combos together.
I have the ultimate edition pre ordered and I am excited to go however...... I am sure that when Miles Morales was announced Sony said it was coming with the remastered Spiderman, there was no mention of us having to pay for it.
I do think it's a bit naughty but in the grand scheme of things, I am not going to get my knickers in a twist when it is such a great game that has been on the receiving end of so much work.
I paid 42 odd quid for Spidey but more than got my money from it by the time I earned the Platinum, I thought it was a fabulous game. I am excited to earn the Plat all over again and to play all of the DLC which I never bothered with on PS4, seems like a good deal for the extra 16 quid it will cost me on top of Miles Morales.
Exactly this, by the same analogy, every publisher over the last decade commits the same act by releasing a game of the year edition of their games. I buy a game today because I want to play it, not once does it enter my head that my purchase will be devalued if it is re-released or remastered etc.
The Switch certainly has more than enough games to keep me occupied, even as a Sony guy, I still find myself drawn to my Switch regularly. There are so many fantastic games in the Switch library, I am hungrily consuming Hades at the moment so that I am done with it before my physical copy of Cadence of Hyrule drops in a few weeks time.
PS4 also has links to look up YouTube vids etc for trophies etc, nobody is saying it's a new concept. Its simply how elegantly it has been implemented that has people excited, and rightly so, this UI is streets ahead of what's come before.
I think the only potential issue relates to whether 3rd party devs will make full use of it too, I really hope so because it really is cool.
