I am a Sony guy anyway but the decision is easy for me, I simply have to play Demon Souls and Spidey.
Blimey, such a wonderful conversationist, what a delight you must be at dinner parties.
The main screen states Playstation Exclusive, and Japan Studio is a Sony studio not to mention Sony own the IP.
The logical conclusion regarding the mention of 'other consoles' is that its coming to PS4 down the line
No need to be so snarky about it, I honestly didnt spot that in the stream . I am ecstatic to hear it's a launch title.
Absolutely blown away by this, it looked streets ahead of any previous SoulsBorne game and really has me excited at the prospect of what a Bloodborne sequel could look like.
I do have to say though, I was very disappointed by the lack of release date.
It's crazy how popular the brand is over half a million now tuned in with 5 mins to go.
The problem is IRetrouk, they don't have any option but to spin things, it's literally all they can do is bang the drum about Gamespass and backwards compatibility.
@RpgSama
Spot on chief, numbers will initially seem quite even for a period, we won't get an accurate impression of how to Xbox is fairing for several months I reckon.
Not really, but even if some did get carried away, that was months ago, not 2 months out from launch.
I personally wouldn't absolve Sony from behaving in a daft manner with all the cloak and dagger silliness either, but we have at least seen decent chunks of gameplay shown on PS5 more recently.
Jeez, this really is scraping the barrel now. Send empty carcasses to journalists for preview purposes and now trying to hype the packaging. Ordinarily showing the box would be a interesting aside, now its a big story; give gamers something to really talk about and show some gameplay for Pete's sake.
I wouldn't ordinarily comment on stuff like this, but I absolute hate how full of shite Aaron Greenberg is.
As if the complaining ain't bad enough, it's the labelling of gamers who enjoy Nintendo products that drives me nuts. Some idiots just can't or won't accept that there are plenty of gamers out there who buy Nintendo games because they are fun to play, instead we get labelled as sheep or casuals, that we are inferior to real gamers or incapable of setting nostalgia aside alongside all manner of other stupid accusations.
Just sod off and play what you want to ...
I assumed Spelunky was on Switch, really surprised to hear it isn't. I agree with you, these kinds of games are a great fit for Switch.
As for Spelunky 2, I am really pleased that it's getting good reviews, I flipping love Spelunky.
Agreed, no question that they should move on to new projects, but they won't until they milk every last drop out of Halo.
Great to see both Sony and Nintendo doing so well, between these two companies all of my gaming needs are more than catered for (with a spot of PC mixed in for Football Manager, Kerbal and Civ).
Why do we keep getting articles claiming Nintendo are getting a pass for something?
Pretty sure there has been universal criticism of this latest issue, what do these commentators want, government involvement or a public enquiry?
I agree, it seems very odd to me also that they are sending empty shells for preview, in my view its just plain weird that, two months from release, they still aren't giving hands on access for previews etc.
I will generally defend Nintendo in respect of the quality of their games, but some of their business practices are pretty hard to understand and practically impossible to support. They must have anticipated how popular Mario Allstars would be, I have a suspicion that they would like to force more people to purchase digital.
I just hope Shopto don't need to start cancelling pre orders, I won't be best pleased.
What a narrow minded and condescending attitude. I am 45 years old and have been gaming since getting an Atari 2600 when I was around 8 years old. Over all those years I have been able to rely on Nintendo to provide fantastic games based on a foundation of fantastic gameplay and that is why I enjoy them.
If that means I am not a 'serious gamer' then I find that hard to wrap my head around given that I have 8 consoles currently plugged into my TV and tens of thousa...
Got my copy pre ordered and I am really excited at the opportunity to revisit some classic Mario. I replayed Galaxy a few years ago on my WiiU but am excited to play without having to waggle a controller, I have not played Mario 64 for more than twenty years and never played Sunshine, so lots for me to enjoy.
I already have the plat but have decided to save my permadeath run for when PS5 comes along, I am hoping for patch of some description.
