Saved me the trouble of looking through that teaser so thanks a lot squire.
You raise some interesting little teases! :)
Cannot wait for this game, I only hope we dont have to wait too long.
I think Forza will be the most well received game by far.
I think Dead Rising will get 7's and 8's. As for Ryse, I really do think anywhere between 5's and 7's.
Dont get me wrong, I would cut my bollocks off right now for a PS4, I am gutted to have to wait another 2 weeks.
On the plus side, the good old US of A get to test the system for us Brits so any kinks are ironed out before we get them.
God bless America!!! (and I really do mean that!)
We haven't played them and it is for this reason that you cannot even consider them!
If you are going to suggest that any of those titles stack up against the awesomeness of Super Mario World then you are crazy!
Cannot argue with the Mario games, they were so awesome back in the day!
If I remember right, I had Ridge Racer and Wipeout on my PS1 back at launch and was utterly blown away with them. I remember thinking for the first time that I had arcade quality in my living room :D
Cannot recall if it was launch as well, but I seem to remember that Resident Evil was at least in the launch window and again, that game blew my mind at the time.
I am sure it is very isolated but if it is you who is affected then that really has to suck!
Sympathies to anyone out there who has been affected, I know I would be gutted!
Same goes for the XB1 customers next week, there are going to be failures, all you can do is hope that it doesn't affect you I guess.
As far as I am concerned this all but confirms to me that the publishers were being pressured into making sure there was parity between the two new consoles and so they were hamstringing the PS4.
I think that the PS4 versions were being held back because MS have long insisted that the games must at least achieve parity with the competitions versions of games if they are to be allowed a release on the XB360/XB1.
Quite why the publishers have decided to call MS...
I will honestly lap up another Uncharted or Last of Us. I would also adore another Crash Bandicoot.
But I would love to think they are working on a new project, they have such an amazing track record when it comes to new IP that my mind boggles at just what they could come up with next.
Dunno, I still feel like he is just being casual in his dialog. I often use the term 'few' or 'couple' when I am being kind of non committal or imprecise about time.
Anyway, lets just hope you are right squire, would be delighted!
Saw nothing in that interview to suggest an earlier release to be honest, just some cleverly phrased sentences to impress on the consumer that there are games due out at intervals over the next few months.
Honestly, it Driveclub was being brought forward there would be more than this little tidbit.
It would be cool as I am looking forward to playing it but I really cannot see this at all.
Quite why anyone would respect the opinion of any of the non-gaming based media is beyond me.
I would not respect their opinion on a game review, I would not respect their opinion on either of the consoles seeing a release shortly.
I think there are many more 'clued' up gamers that the experts and journalists think.
They always give this scenario where 'little johny's mom' goes to the store to make a purchase without knowing what they are asking for.
The fact is the majority of consoles are bought by informed consumers (or their moms) and their has been far too many negative revelations to ignore with regard to the XB1.
Unless you are die hard MS cus...
I cannot wait to play The Witch and the Hundred Knights on PS3, will deffo be making that purchase on release.
Sony still have some games lined up for the PS3 for sure
Had MS not bought the rights to these games they still would have existed and MS could have invested in even more titles for the Xbox community.
All MS do is pay companies to withhold games from a segment of the gaming community rather than invest in their own - not good for gamers in my opinion.
At this point you have to wonder just how anyone who is into games enough to visit gaming websites can ignore the constant stream of negative press around MS.
When I bought my TV it took me a good month of research to make a purchase because I wanted to be sure I was getting the best TV in my price bracket.
With these consoles, how can you ignore all of the goings on over the last 8 or more months? MS have behaved horribly over the this period, making one ba...
This is old news really, everyone knew that MS put the final nail in the coffin for RARE.
How anyone who claims to love games can support or defend MS treatment of what was a much respected dev like RARE is beyond me.
Having said that, Sony committed an equally atrocious act when they axed Liverpool Studios despite WipeoutHD being utterly amazing. This is more of a blip for Sony however, given their proven track record of supporting well performing studios. ...
I thought this was one really great article and sums up exactly how I perceive MS and their strategy in the console market.
I am happy to admit that I am disappointed that TitanFall will not becoming to my console of choice as I have many more pals on PSN that I do on my PC.
Ultimately, I guess if the game turns out as good as it looks I will pick it up on my PC.
I am not naive enough to think that Sony are not in it to make money, but I ho...
LOL, thanks for all your efforts cyclindk......you make sure you do a thorough job on testing that system for me :)
You do make a heck of a good argument for 2010 :)
For some reason I never really look back at which year was strongest, I am kind of always looking forward to the next game and feel like games just keep getting better and better.
When you list games in the way you have it has made me think that perhaps some years are stronger than others.
This year though I have played Bioshock, The Last Of Us, Ni No Kuni, Rayman, Puppeteer, GTA5, Tomb Riade...
Absolutely couldn't agree with this more!
I am already lusting after launch games that I am having to skip for now as I cannot squeeze them all in.
I guess these so called journalists just love to be pissed at everything!
