I loved the motorstorm series so am excited to play this game - hopefully with wheel support for my G27.
One thing I will be interested in is how the AI behaves in races as this is one area I always felt the MS series was lacking, the AI was punishingly difficult, particularly in Pacific Rift.
All the same, this game looks amazing and I cannot wait to get into the racing seat and get some drifts going :)
I would be surprised if it is released in February, I think Sony will want to give a good lead time to run a decent advertising campaign and build excitement and to get the release date 'out there'.
Hope I am wrong of course, I aint to marketing expert :)
@Webeblazing
you make some excellent points chief, but I take exception to comments like the one I replied too, that of beatled's that offer none of your eloquent arguments and instead offer nothing but snarky fanboy like comments.
I have to say I am staggered by just how bigoted some people are.
I haven't come across this type of comment on N4G before, maybe I have just been lucky enough to miss it, but seeing these kind of backward comments makes me very sad.
I am married with kids personally, but have never understood how some people are so disturbed by others sexual orientation. It doesn't affect you so why worry about it?
Cannot see how you would miss this part of the character to be honest, especially if you find all the notes and start the optional discussions off.
I thought it was superbly handled and when you find Bill's 'partner' it was very powerful drama and made Joel's parting conversation with Bill all the more touching.
There is not another game I have ever played that handles story, horror, drama, atmosphere, love and hate in the way that TLOU does. ...
Love it when PC elitists feel the need to troll console stories.
Do we really need to have the whole PC v Console discussion again?
I should point out that I have a very respectable PC but I love to play my consoles as much as I do the PC, particularly with the gap having been closed so much with the PS4/XB1.
I agree squire! I loved the PS3 version and picked that up at a discounted price anyway. I have found the PS4 version for £36 (instead of the £46+ everywhere else) so I am more that happy to pick this up again.
I absolutely loved it 1st time around and am not ashamed to admit that I love pretty graphics. For me, the gameplay was brilliant so having an amazing looking version for my new console suits me just fine.
Personally loving KZ and so are my work mates, it is currently our game of choice.
Really well balanced, great sound (love that 'chirrup' sound when you get a kill!) and it looks utterly amazing.
I am also very impressed with the campaign too, not quite sure why this universe gets picked apart when the likes of HALO are no better as far as story is concerned. I love the ambiguity of this universe where no side is really the 'good guy' and the...
Still love my PS3, cannot wait for 'The Witch and the Hundred Knights'.
Really excited for that game, and Tales of Xillia 2 too.
Enjoyable show that treats games and gamers with a more mature angle whilst still being funny.
I personally really like Brooker too, I remember reading his reviews back in PCZone magazine way back in the day so its kind of funny to see him as a TV celebrity these days.
Anyway, for those not in the know, Brooker has always been a gamer and a journalist, its this type of person I like to see discussing games and trying to raise the profile of games amongst main...
@Foxtrot
Well said squire, couldn't agree more! - have a bubble vote :)
He would be the only one I would vote for chief!
These others are all complete nobodies, especially Francis, what a complete tit that guy is.
Quite why anyone would respect that guys opinion is quite beyond me!
I was one of those who invested in the characters and the franchise too and sure, the ending was underwhelming but that was what the developers decided to put out.
It was their creative vision, their product. Who the hell is the average Joe to DEMAND a rewrite and make all sorts of threats and go mental - it was a fucking game! So what if you didn't like the ending, do you know what, don't buy the next game if you were that upset.
The internet has j...
@UnholyOne
broadly speaking I agree with you, people are simply way to over entitled these days, when you look back at the fuss over Mass Effect 3 for example.
This issue however, is silly. That hardrive is very small and the system should have been built to swap out the drive similar to how the PS4 has IMO.
Gotta say, I have a pretty nice PC and picked up a PS4 today.....the PS4 version of Battlefield looks utterly incredible and there is absolutely NO WAY you can justify spending £1200 on a system (what I payed for my PC) over £349 for a PS4 if all you want are great games.
The difference in visuals and performance is barely noticeable, the PS4 version looks jaw dropping on my 55" TV and of course, I have the comfort of dossing on my sofa while I do it :)
Always happy to see MS lurch from one cock up to another but this really seems to be overly sensitive to me....its was just a bit of fun and whether people like it or not, gaming is still a largely male pastime.
I have Friday to Wednesday off, worked up lots of flexi time so have earned this!
Some might say a 38 year old guy being this excited is kind of sad, but I wont hear them over the sound of gunfire on Vekta or the cheering crowds of football fans on FIFA :)
I guess you dont remember how long MS tried to hold out against the rumours and complaints before admitting there was a problem with RROD?
I had to replace my 1st XBOX360 after just 3 days as the drive stopped working, not too bad as I just swapped it out at Blockbusters.
I then had a RROD early on that was replaced and the replacement lasted for around 14 months before breaking but because it just packed up and was not a RROD that console was done for.
This is a huge barrier to me going digital. The prices charged on both networks is ridiculous with prices being more expensive that their boxed versions.
I want to see at least a good %25 discount on the boxed versions before I would even consider going digital.
Mind you, I am very VERY attached to my boxed games collection so doubt I would ever really embrace digital totally.
"eventually down the line MS will bring out more innovative and exclusives" - LOL!!!!
I am speechless, MORE EXCLUSIVES on XBOX? I have a shelf full of exclusive PS3 games compared to a handful of 360 that suggests otherwise chief.
