I don't want to be unkind here, but there is something about this guy that just rubs me up the wrong way.
I think that MS have had such a rough time of it with all of these execs and PR people that their names are just tarnished now.

Never got on with 3D personally but then I do have a gimpy eye so it never seems to work that well for me.
I have to say, it does seem strange to me that both devices come with a BluRay drive but cannot play movies out of the box.
Would be interested if anyone knows why this happened. Its not a big deal for me, I will likely download the PS4 update once its available so I can install it from a pendrive, just in case the network is overloaded on day one.
Played a few of these games.
I really loved Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and feel sad that it was so overlooked. The artstyle was lovely, really colourful with nice character design.
I remember this was one of the very few games I rented. After about 2 hours I loved it so stopped playing and sent it back and bought my own copy as I felt I owed it to the devs to support them. Sadly they went bust anyway :(
DMC in my opinion never deserved...
A real gem for me was the excellent Eternal Sonata.
My fave JRPG (possibly ever!) is Valkyria Chronicles, I adore that game.
I think the PS3 did well for JRPG's in the end after an admittedly very slow start, Nino Kuni was fab as are the Tales sereis. The upcoming 'Witch and the Hundred Knights' looks utterly, utterly amazing.
I think there were some under appreciated games on PS3, the likes of the Atlier games and Disgaea games ...

Yeah I absolutely agree, the whole on disk DLC stuff was a very ropey practice at best.
I agree again, the fanboy thing is annoying but I find its more than that, its the way people talk to each other online or on Forums as a whole that bums me out. Wish people could just be cool to each other more :)

I think the level of detail and animations are hugely improved personally. I cannot wait for some FIFA with my workmates, its what Friday nights were made for :)
Two of the biggest annoyances this generation for me were:
1: Content tied to different retailers.
I hated that different retailers would have different exclusive content forcing you to decide which content to sacrifice.
2: Embargo's

All I know is I am excited for this game, I have adored the last few NFS games. I hope the soundtrack is as good as it was in Most Wanted.
Greatest sports series I have ever played. The game that got me hooked on MLB in the real world.
I have to agree with your sentiments about Killer Instinct. It was mildly entertaining back in the day but certainly not worthy of the crazy levels of excitement it seems to be enjoying from some quarters.

You are really missing out with that narrow perspective of what constitutes a next gen game squire.
Some of the best games I have played over the last year were indies. The likes of Mark of the Ninja(PC), Hotline Miami(Vita), Guacamelee(PS3), Limbo(PS3) and Bastion(PC) are utterly terrific and I just pity people who miss out on these amazing titles.

I am playing BF3 on my PC at the moment just counting the days till I can play BF4 on my PS4 with all by work mates, happy times ahead for sure!

I quite enjoy this show but every now and then they cover a gadget I know a bit about and I find that they are quite clueless.
As a result I kind of take their opinions with pinch of salt.
Its still a watchable show as the presenters are very entertaining though.
Bloomin' American's always get cool stuff first.....it's not fair I tells ya! :)
