Personally I think its merely a case that Wii U has reached a tipping point where there are enough games on yhe system to make it a desirable purchase. I really would love to own one and hope to pick one up in the near future.
I dont agree that people are buying it instead of the other consoles however, for me personally, I feel that the content on Nintendo is so different than what is available on the PS4 that it is a perfect compliment anx would argue that this is what the...
Dont see how any of the people knocking this title can honestly justify their comments.
We have a low resolution gif here, how can you judge what the game looks like from this? No one has any grounds at all to doubt the talent, love and passion that Naughty Dog put into their games, they are not the kind of company to just bung a title out of the door willy nilly.
There is only one reason people can have for justifying their negativity for this title and it ...
Guess this is your first console launch window.....I have bought around 6 consoles at launch and all have had a slow 1st year, this is nothing new to this generation.
This has actually been one of the better launches in my opinion, I have played some absolutely cracking games on ps4 so far and from the end of July onwards there is release after release to look forward too.
I just dont understand why some people are getting so bent out of shape about remasters. If the title doesn't interest you then simply dont buy it.
Personally, I feel that if a title is deserving of a remaster due to its quality or because it is a much loved title then its a nice option for the relevant consumer.
I am really excited for TLoU even though I completed it 4 times, its like a good movie for me, something I love to revisit when the mood takes ...
Adore the score to this game, the making of documentary was amazing and the sections where they covered the music were really interesting and showed how much creativity and talent go into every aspect of this game.
I would hate to choose between the music in this or the score from Skyrim as my fave videogame score (with a special mention for Hotline Miami).
On topic, this girl is super talented, really great sound and the video is pretty great too....thanks f...
You raise a very good point here in respect of the world wide appeal resulting in more games.
While not as relevant as it once was the software from japan is a real plus point that Sony systems have over the xbox systems.
Speaking personally, it goes back to before the xb1 was even announced.
I always felt that MS gave up on gamers for the last 3 years of the xb360 producing a few tired exclusive titles and garbage kinect games. Once they announced the xb1 it seemed like they were continuing down that route with the focus so firmly on kinect and tv.
This was a huge turn off for me, even before all the PR disasters and 180s and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I now feel ...
Exactly how I feel squire, of course they both want to make money but its how the go about it that makes all the difference.
Summed up how I perceive Sony exactly, their legacy and the Playstation history means a lot to me and Sony have never let me down as far as stellar games are concerned, even when their consoles are in the twilight of their lives.
Just finished this game and have to say I was blown away, every aspect of the production values was top notch, the gameplay great and the story moving and thought provoking.
dont be put off by the length of the game, there is no fat here, it is great from start to finish whith not a single lull or flat game mechanic and for me felt just right.
What a moving piece of work, top marks to Ubi on this one.
a title that received very little love but one that I had an awesome time with was The Saboteur. I really did enjoy that title.
Phil still has a lot to prove for me, I still hear plenty of spin from xbox to make me think they havent changed they way they operate as an organisation.
Even the most recent tv advert here in the uk shows the dude from breaking bad demonstrating various kinect features before they announce the price as that of the kinectless sku....I know its not much but its alway smoke and mirrors.
You still have the parity stuff going on, the half truths surrounding cloud ...
I bought a tremendous sammy just before Sony announced that range and I deffo wish I had waited.
my tv is stunning to be fair but I need to switch between game mode when playing ps4 and watching tv......its just not quite enough of an issue to justify buying a new tv, mine still retails for over a grand so its hardly an old or outdated tv, but boy do I want a Sony W9 series.
If all other things are equal, such as gameplay, story and game mechanics then why is it such a bad thing to determine if one console version is superior in graphical fidelity and performance?
Should a game come out on the XB1 that performs better then it wouldnt stop me buying it on ps4 if the game is still one I want to play however, there would come a point if most games came out and performed better on xb1 that I would buy that console.
I dont think it is...
I thought it was a decent show personally, loads of awesome games however the problem is they are almost all available on the PS4 where they are likely to be superior in performance/fidelity.
Also had to laugh at TURN10 banging on about loving their fans after trying to gouge them so much on the last iteration of FORZA....perhaps they have realised that their fan base dont like being taken for granted???
The only 'surprise' was Platinum games going ex...
Have no idea what the game is, I hate this type of reveal where no gameplay is demonstrated HOWEVER.....I love this developer and am sad that they have gone exclusive with the XB1 for their next game.
I suspect that those low XB1 figures may be partly due to people holding off buying one until the Kinect-less SKU is released.....partly.
I am thrilled that ridiculous policies such as the parity clause are costing Microsoft, its the only way they will learn that they cannot bully developers any longer.
They abused their position of power last generation and now they are being found out and I for one am pleased, I have never liked the way MS operate, not just xbox, but in any other field they trade in.
I am sure before long another policy change will have to be made, to be fair to Spencer he do...
Without the console market most of the games you PC elitists play would not be made in the first place.
Its testament to just how good this game is that there is this much excitement for it considering it is a remaster.
I tend to get excited for a new game anyway but I feel like I did when I bought TLOU first time around, its amazing really.
My only concern is whether to play the campaign, the mp or the DLC first :)
