Agreed, in my experience, Shopto are bloomin brilliant!
Don't use Amazon either, support your UK game retailers who actually pay their taxes.
Shopto.com, SimplyGames.com or 365games.co.uk are all fantastic UK based games retailers, I use these ahead of Amazon, supermarkets and certainly ahead of Game.
Not sure what games this guy is playing, but I personally feel like games have never been better regardless of what metric you use. On a technical level games have never looked or sounded better, the ability to include engaging narrative and stories in the medium has never been easier or more prevalent, the variety of genres has never been wider. I literally cannot keep up with the amount of fabulous games that I want to play.
What a pathetic article, if you are going to ...
The problem is, most people wouldn't notice if MS did give up, they barely register on anyone's radar where it matters, the production of killer video games.
Beautiful, even the box and controller look fab. My only criticism is that my consoles sit in an entertainment system with the front of the consoles facing me. This means that the Spidey logo is side on when I look at it in my cabinet, I think the logo should be rotate by 90 degrees so that it is facing you when you look at it from the front. Just a minor quibble, still a great looking console.
Reckon it's a close run thing between the GOW Pro and they Spidey one, both lovely to look at I reckon.
I always felt that the destructible environments was overkill anyway and ultimately a stupid thing to base the premise of your game around.
Destructible environments are really cool but who cares about individual bricks being detailed in the middle of a fight. For example, I think the level of destruction in the Battlefield series is fantastic and demonstrates that you dont need building to crumble into a million pieces for a game to be immersive, just make the game compel...
Anyone suggesting any company protecting the property they have built, developed, exploited and most importantly own simply doesn't have a realistic understanding of IP or business.
As someone who works in the IP sector, I cannot stress how important protecting your brands can be and how far reaching the consequences of allowing infingment to occur can be. Konami are very unpopular, probably, that public dislike is deserved but they absolutely have the right to dictate...
Personally, I feel that the whole issue has been blown out of proportion for the most part.
The reason MS and Nintendo are suddenly so keen is because their own user bases are so limited in comparison to Sony's. Early on in the last generation, when MS were in the driving seat, they didn't want to know either. The fact is, generally speaking if you are in a dominant position why would you want to give your competitors access to to a userbase you have worked so har...
Nintendo have quietly gone about their business and lined up some really nice games this year. Mario Tennis, Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, Bayonetta 2, Octopath, Pokemon and Smash Bros not too shabby at all.
Octopath, in my opinion, looks to be the pick of the bunch though, that art style alone makes me want to play it, let alone the gameplay and story.
Really excited for this, I know it's not caught the attention of the mainstream audience, but as someone who is a sucker for this kind of art style and a lover of Souls-Borne titles, this looks like a cracking title to me, I hope it's as challenging as Souls, Nioh etc.
I am not a comic book guy so I don't really know what the deal is with venom, other than the fact that he looks really cool. What I would say, as an 80's kid who grew up with the original cartoon, is that they appear to have plenty of bosses in the game and for me, Green Goblin is the key arch rival, I really hope he turns up.
I am really excited to play this game, everything shown so far has been incredible, Insomniac Games really have outdone themselves which is ...
I agree with you to an extent squire, I like that Sony are trying new things, after all, they knocked it out of the park with the live orchestra last year. It is a little worrying that they didn't foresee the logistical issues of moving thousands of people from one venue to another, that was always going to be unpredictable and a momentum stopper.
Nonetheless, there is no question Sony showed the best games by a country mile with Tsushima, TLoU2 and Spiderman being the...
Time for a replay squire, always worth a replay😃
Happy 4th of July from you UK cousins if you are in the US, have a great day.
I have a horrible feeling thus game will be overlooked by the majority of Switch owners, I really hope it does as well as it deserves too, the game looks fabulous!
I could not disagree more, and just judging from the language and level of aggression shown in your comments, it is clear that you do have a problem. If that trailer contained Joel watching that same feel character before having a dance and a smooch I am sure people like you would have zero issues...watch out chief, your mask is slipping!
Clearly, I am referring to a picture and not to the person in the photograph so the use of the pronoun is correct.
What is wrong with it exactly?
I agree with your sentiments to a degree squire, but I don't recall developers making all the fuss, it's usually commentators on various websites.
Another aspect in these online games to consider, in my opinion, is why not have a breadth of characters that offer representation to all sections of society? I never understood why that was so difficult for some to accept (not you in particular chief, just in general). Generally speaking, 'macho heterosexual guy...
Well thankfully, the majority of the game playing public find the decision very easy as demonstrated by the massive lead in worldwide sales.
