He does bring up some really important issues that need to be fixed. I would love to have the exact same online ease-of-use as the PS3, though there are some RAM limitations. Being able to access the PSN would be pretty sweet.
The PSP's been neglected for a while, so hopefully they'll be able to focus on it once all the heavy-duty PS3 work is finished this fall.
Think my PSP will mind?
The fire looks a lot better now (actually, it looks really good). But the grass and trees were crap last time I saw them. Hopefully they do something useful with that. Then again, not even Halo is having interactive foliage, so maybe next time? Technically they don't even have to do physics-based stuff with it; I'd be fine if it swayed as soon as I walked through it.
*crosses fingers*
The lighting in this level is amazing though, and I'm amazed how far the Volume...
since they are waiting so long to get this system in Korea. Korean's are pretty far ahead of us in terms of technology, so this most likely just fits the marketing needed for that territory. It's the only SKU being released there (as far as I know) and are identical in every other way to the 60GBs that they have in Europe (and soon to be U.S. ->new layout without EE chip)
Difference in price is only a few dollars between 60GB and 80GB HDDs, so I'm sure it was an easy decisio...
And in fact is the Only SKU being released within that country. It doesn't affect us in any way, and it's nothing that we can't do on our own. Or better for that matter -> F*ck proprietary HDDs.
You have no right to criticize Sony for giving a slight incentive for Koreans (who are quite tech-savvy, fyi) since they have waited about 6 months longer than the rest of us. Microsoft on the other hand releases what, 3 SKUs within all territories? Hell, you can't even upgrade to an...
every time I see her. I love how these PS3 titles are breaking new ground in both art and animation.
Semi since it's updated a few days after, showing that the effect of Gamers Day wasn't just a fluke. We'll probably see the same thing in the U.S. once E3 rolls around. I guess the Brits paid more attention to this event since it was in their country 'en all; none of my friends even knew that Gamers Day even happened.
so this is understandable. It'll probably be a Korea-only thing though. Doesn't matter for us since all the HDDs can be replaced with off-the-shelf products.
Hate to break it to you, but the 360's numbers haven't changed much over the past 5 months. 1.5 million Xbox 360s were sold worldwide since January 07. That's just how it's been.
and a multi-homicide cellmate asks you "So what are you in here for? Drugs? Killin'?" And you have to look him in the eye and go -"I clicked on some Ones and Zeros. Oh, and pasted."-
level of Uncharted already doesn't fit on a DVD-5, it's pretty obvious that next-gen titles benefit heavily from Blu-ray's storage capacity. Saying "Well, these games are only big because they have multiple regions" is a poorly calculated excuse.
Sony has more lenient usage rules, and yet has fewer problems than Microsoft when it comes to modding.
in order to fit on one disc; they don't have much of a choice. It's impossible to ask users to swap discs because so much data would have to be made redundant that 3 or 4 discs would be needed then.
This is exactly what Sony has been pushing for, and in fact they are providing tools and guidance for 3rd party developers so that PS3 is the primary development platform. They have a right to say this as it's easier to port from the PS3 to the 360, and not the other way around (red...
That's pretty damn tight. Count me in! =]
besides the usual Smash Bros., Mario, and Samus.
That's pretty big for a sports title, but whatever they need.
You've obviously never used Linux. It's faster, more secure, and the things you can do with it in terms of visual effects make Vista look like a joke.
We were actually comparing worldwide sales. The 360's most popular territory is North America; in fact, more than half its sales are in this country. In Japan it's a failure though, and in Europe I believe they've sold 3.5 million so far.
In worldwide sales, PS3's winning over the 360, despite the lack of a worldwide launch. Pretty surprising for a console that's priced 50% higher and lacks a large library of compelling titles. Same thing happened with the PS2 though, and it en...
Project Gotham and Forza 2 perform/look considering that the teams share not only car models and other game assets, but I think they use the same game engine as well (need to find the article to back this up).
mostly because it's actually looking promising now. The graphics and animation continue to improve every month, and the inclusion of a bluetooth headset for the Retail version gives some added incentive.
