A lot of people also thought this show was really good, but they tend not to make opinion articles. Slamming something is always better for clicks.
3 people think you're lying. SMH.
@Satyre28: So if I went to look at the price of Fallout 4 that was released on the same day as Rise of the Tomb Raider, what would I find?

That's not really the same as this:

Forgot to mention:
- Jesus comes back from the dead.
- Your princess is in another castle.
- Carl is never in the goddamn house.
As sad as it was at the time, any scenario that would allow Aerith to be saved would undermine one of the most memorable and powerful scenes in gaming history. It would be a substantial mistake, and would dramatically alter the plot.
Yes, let's all rage about something before we have any information whatsoever. We don't know how many episodes will be released, or how long each would be, or the cost of each one, or if there will be a physical release at the end, or what new content will be added to the game, or how the combat will be structured, or just about any other defining aspect of the game aside from the graphics.
But yes, by all means let's start raging now before facts get in the way o...
@jb227: It is absolutely piracy to download PS2 isos. In fact, depending on where you live, in a lot of places under copyright law it is still illegal even if you own the physical version of the game.
Even PC abandonware is still illegal, but often skates by since the companies that make the games have been dissolved or bought by other companies, either they aren't around to sue, or the rights to the game are disputed meaning that they're not sure who should be suing...
@MikleDemi: The video you posted showing God of War III emulated is completely fake. The only working emulator struggles to run even the most basic PS3 games, and the site for the emulator that the video links to requires you to complete a survey before getting the download. The legitimate site for the RPCS3 emulator is quite a bit more open about it's compatibility, and has videos with gameplay more like the following:

I see a whole lot of people in here with questionable comment histories doing their level best to downplay the huge PS4 catalog that just got a lot bigger today. Funny, they're in a lot of PS4 threads today trying to spin getting a ton of new PS4 content as a bad thing for some reason. Good luck with that, but I'd rather have the choices, particularly since so many of them are awesome. Favorite bits:
Yakuza 0
Ace Combat 7
Final Fantasy VII (Gameplay al...

So very awesome. If only they'd bring Ryū ga Gotoku Kenzan too. :)
Respectfully, I must disagree.
Vehemently.
SOLD!
I'm going to pass on the port of the PC version, and wait for the remake. I still have my original PS1 discs if I need the nostalgia.
"repetitive missions"? What missions? And how was it repetitive? Each area forced such a different approach, I'm not sure how that statement can be justified?
As for "boring combat", every time I got into a fight I was tense from beginning to end. I have no idea how you could be bored by that. Between the tension of a stealth approach, crafting melee weapons or bombs for a direct assault, to flat out gunfights, there were so many unique encounters that...
As much as I think Druckmann and Straley have things under control, the fact that neither Naughty Dog or Hennig has spoken about the circumstances of her departure is more likely the result of a mutual NDA that includes a non-disparagement clause as part of her contract.
I'm not saying that she would "bad mouth" them even if she had the opportunity, but it sounds like there was at least a little friction when she departed. A shame, but that's the business. ...
Probably, but that's not a bad thing.
Druckmann and Straley have Uncharted in their DNA, and The Last of Us was a pitch perfect masterpiece. Hennig was fantastic, but Uncharted 3 wasn't nearly as good as Uncharted 2 was, so she wasn't infallible. I'm completely confident that the story in Uncharted 4 will be up to par with Druckmann's previous work, and will result in an awesome game.
Thank you! Nothing like people spouting FUD when there is virtually no information on the game.
