Sorry, your opinion isn't shared by everyone. I personally like the game a lot and it has nothing to do with EVE Online. A much closer comparison would be Privateer or Elite, rather than EvE which is entirely multiplayer driven. If you find this game boring (and are making a comparison to EVE), then perhaps you were expecting a different kind of game.
It looks really good on the PC, but even then it has performance issues unless you have a high end machine. My biggest problem is that it's a sandbox at the moment, with end game content still being added. As long as you go into it with the understanding that it's early access, you should have a lot of fun.
Its a really great game, but I'm glad that I don't have to go back to my PS2 to re-play it. The new version is fantastic. One of Level 5's unsung gems.
I'd prefer to see Phantasy Star V. :)
I guess the same thing that the company that actually trademarked the phrase was thinking.
Jesus. I can already feel the vertigo.
And he admitted that he was trolling people. Not sure how that qualifies as an "innocent, naive sweetheart".
Notice we don't have a million trolling comments about "Oh my god, the game must be in trouble! What's going on at Bioware?!"
Console zealotry is ruining our favorite pasttime.
Talk about a high concept problem. I'd rather have to worry about that than not having enough games in the lineup!
Cherry picking a tech demo, and a third party game from Ubisoft out of a list of huge PS4 exclusives for next year. Nice.
@castillo: A home product? You know that Microsoft had all Xbox Ones built in China, right?
Time to make your charred controller into a bong. :)
RIGS, Ace Combat 7, EVE Valkyrie, 100ft Robot Golf, Battlezone. Already there are five games that have my absolute attention. Anything else in the launch window is going to be gravy.
@DoctorFraud: Apt name.
Though the price has not been officially announced, they've already said that the price would be comparable to the price of a console, so making it $600 isn't happening.
Stop trying to manufacture controversy.
The Last of Us was delayed three times.
It went on to be one of the most acclaimed games ever made.
I'll bet it will still chart highly in April despite being on sale for only four days that month.
Also... GODDAMMIT. Glad they're polishing it, but damn did I want this in March.
It's simple.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT THEM, DO NOT BUY THEM.
The rest of the argument is just people complaining that they're not getting something for free. Some people don't have the physical games, and would like to have upscaled versions of the original with trophies. Some people don't mind supporting the developers. If you're not one of those people, then the choice is clear: vote with your wallet. Don't buy them.
If ...
(Am I the only one that liked the story in Saints Row?)
Red.
Dead.
Redemption.

I'm with Septic. I don't much like the guy's personality, and he comes off as pretentious. That said, he's obviously fiercely intelligent and has crafted a well designed game.
Honestly I hate myself a little for wanting to play it, because of who I'll be supporting.
