@Loktai: Not to mention that Microsoft doesn't release sales numbers any more.
Wow, sweet. That was a lot faster than I was expecting.
Yeah, they really turned things around on the network issues too. Anyone who likes racers should have this in their library.
Probably because they haven't released information on how many parts it will be released in, the amount of content in each one, or the price. Which is also what makes premature articles like this so ridiculous.
Nothing like throwing up a reactionary article when there is still nothing to react to. The author should get their facts straight, by waiting until there are some facts available. Until then, this is fear mongering of the most clickbaity kind.
@Zcarnut: Gee, it's almost as if Microsoft published software on other platforms, like say the PC for example.
Like say Minecraft for example.
@Zcarnut: Its wrong because we're not talking about Microsoft as a whole, but just its Entertainment Division. Xbox doesn't make Microsoft any money, and if not for the Google payments, the Entertainment Division would be consistently in the red.
That's not to say that I didn't whoop with joy when Ace Combat 7 for VR showed up. I can't @#$% wait for that game.
You've written a long entitled rant based on little actual information about the game. I firmly suggest that you stow your disappointment until the game is actually released, and there are some facts upon which to judge the game.
Actually, I think the Yakuza series is better than Shenmue. I've been playing them since the PS2, and have enjoyed all of them.
...even Dead Souls, which really should never have existed. :P
100ft
Robot
Golf
That alone made the PSX a success to me. :)
Sony doesn't set prices on other companies' games.
Also, EA Access is a terrible deal.
Came here to find this, and was not disappointed. :)
@DoctorFraud: It didn't set the charts on fire after the outage either. We're talking lifetime sales since April 2011 for SOCOM vs lifetime sales of games with a whole lot less time under their belt.
@jer1122: SOCOM 4 sold less than a million units worldwide, roughly the same sales as LittleBigPlanet Karting. LBP3 sold a million and a half physical, even before you factor in digital sales. Remasters sell because people want them. If there was no market for them, they wouldn't get made. There just aren't enough fans of SOCOM at this point to justify another release.
Yes, they're making Dreams. They're also making Uncharted 4, God of War, RIGS, Horizon, Det...
I'm going to play the crap out of 100ft Robot Golf. That sounds awesome. Plus, there are going to be plenty of other AAA games available for PSVR. Personally, I'd buy it for Ace Combat 7 alone. Eve Valkyrie and Battlezone too, for that matter.
Edit: RIGS! How could I have forgotten RIGS! That's going to be a blast! Having flashbacks to old multiplayer games of Cybersled in the arcades.
Agreed. Much better now that you can use the list mode, and customize the layout a bit. With some of the other changes, it looks like it will work out really well.
Opinion: IGN wants clicks.
Not only long load times, but inconsistently so. One activity will load relatively instantly, then another will suddenly take five minutes. Avalanche has to get on the patches. Both for this and Mad Max. :P
If that's true, then there will be hell to pay.
... get it?
