Fantasic game, as long as you turn it off 10 minutes before the end and just make up whatever ending you want.

Well this article is completely wrong.

The author does have a point about Uncharted and it's set pieces, but misses the point that set pieces are a staple of the genre that Uncharted pays homage to. When you think about Indiana Jones for example, you think about snakes and falling statues in the Well of Souls, or Indy fighting the giant brute under the Nazi flying wing. You didn't see that in The Last of Us not because it was an evolution of their craft, but because they were telling a story in a different genre. Perhaps I...

It was pretty appealing for me, and the strong sales/reviews says that I wasn't the only one who thought so.

I've got both the old and new versions. The differences are hardly minimal.

Really. Good job author for being reactionary based on ZERO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER.

Have you ever seen Dollhouse? For the bulk of the series, he played a surprisingly menacing antagonist.

@UnHoly_One: In that highly specific scenario, you would save a dollar. Meanwhile EA encourages you to purchase a digital copy of the game, which you cannot re-sell or lend to a friend.

If you'd read the whole post instead of leaping to call me a liar, you'd have seen that I state that "If you were planning to buy every game that EA makes, and you never buy used games, then EA Access is a really good deal." However, for the benefits that the customer receiv...

@lastking95: "how does ea access hurt used games again?" I shall explain. As a game hits the vault, it tanks the used price for games for two reasons. First, if people have it in their vault, they can sell their physical copy since they don't need it any more. With the market flooded all of a sudden, the price that a retailer like Gamestop will pay for a used copy of the game decreases. Second, since the game is available for free through EA Access, a retailer like Gamestop will...

@Tobsesan: It isn't hate, the facts speak for themselves. The good points of the program just happen to also undercut the used game market that EA has been trying to control for years.

For $30 you get 10% off digital EA games, which means you have to buy six EA games a year to get your money's worth. And it only applies to digital games so you can't even trade them in when you're done. They're discouraging physical sales over digital where they get a much greater margin.

You get early access, which is good. Its a week head start on games, which is a tangible benefit that EA Access provides. For alpha consumers, which EA loves, the thought of...

“Anyone who has pledged for a Star Citizen Package can now play today without worrying they won’t have access to some portion of the ‘Verse in the future. No Star Marine pass, no Alpha 2.0 pass… no additional payment needed for any module in the works, pre-release.”

And yet this site still goes out of its way to try to spin the game in a negative light because the pre-release game requires some exploration. Dark Souls doesn't hold your hand through its hidden features, an...

There's a lot of fallacious assumption in this article, seemingly only interested in capitalizing on the recent string of clickbait articles targeting Star Citizen and it's developer.

Chris Roberts has already delivered on the promise of combat/trade/exploration in an engaging universe in his previous games; the Wing Commander franchise, its spin-off Privateer and Freelancer. So when he created the Kickstarter for Star Citizen, it wasn't his "passion proclam...

Perhaps what he should be saying is that fans don't want a BAD Uncharted movie. I'd be fine with it if they had the right script, actors, and director, and I think that hasn't been the case this far, considering how long it's taken Sony to let things move forward.

Some of the previous script treatments had such bizarre details that it was basically a completely different plot than the Uncharted that we know and love. Like David O'Russell's idea with M...

No it isn't "known". I've had nothing but good experiences with their customer service, and the one time that a solution took longer than it should have, they sent me a full retail game as compensation.

This article should have been titled "Customer didn't write down ticket number, can't prove he called". When you deal with a CSR, that should second nature.
