I don't find it had to believe at all. I'm absolutely sure that I will be surprised at its level of quality.
...probably not in a good way, but...
God damn did I blow a LOT of quarters on that game in the arcade.
I just wish it had more of the RTS/FPS hybrid gameplay that the 1998 remake did so well. I really hope that when Battlezone 1998 comes out that they do a PSVR version.
The inclusion of the phrase "Early Access" should end this discussion fairly quickly. If you want a feature complete product, wait for the final release. If you want to help the developer test and improve the product, providing your feedback to make everyone's experience better, and you're willing to put up with bugs and incomplete features in order to get "Early Access" to a work in progress, then by all means dive in. You don't go to a grocery store and expec...
It's not implied at all, I'm stating it directly. This is going to be Destiny all over again, and I'm not going to be fooled again until I hear some critical feedback.
If that were the consideration, they'd have moved Ratchet and Clank rather than Uncharted 4. I think the real reason was the one they gave, and it's a logistical issue resulting from them revising their forecast upwards for a game that is shaping up to be a massive success.
Considering how the Beta played, this is shady as hell.
Alternately you could look at this way: The price hasn't been announced yet, so maybe we're jumping the gun.
No. The story goes off the rails at the end. I really wanted to like the game, and for the first half the atmosphere is excellent, but for the arbitrary and unexplained plot twists in the middle, the conclusion is unsatisfying. Considering the length of the game and issues that I had with the plot, I would not recommend it.
Didn't we learn about this nonsense with GFWL? Remedy is still hamstrung by their deal with Microsoft, and hopefully in a few years they'll be free to release it on Steam or Origin.
I really wanted to like this game, but the plot really got away from them. A waste of great tension, and in the end just fizzles out. Had I known then what I know now, I'd have waited for this game to go on sale, or not bought it at all.
It is. I remember the year that EA committed to new IPs as an experiment, bringing us Dead Space, Mirror's Edge and Army of Two. With the exception of AoT (which was just painful) both Mirror's Edge and Dead Space were such fantastic and well made games. I'm glad that Faith is getting another kick at the can, I just wish that they'd show Dead Space some love too.
Off topic, am I the only one who actually liked Dead Space 3?
If people always waited for games to be polished before playing them, no Bethesda game would ever be sold.
Ark is actually an amazing, evolving game that should be the model of what every "Early Access" game delivers to the customer.
PSN is down? News to me. Not having any issues in Canada.
Even if Ace Combat 7 is enough to make me buy on day one, just the existence of a game called 100ft Robot Golf would have done the trick. :)
I would trust Naughty Dog's track record for testing a lot more than say... Bethesda's. (Buggiest games that I ever loved.) Still, glad they're doing their due diligence and can't wait for the release.
Well, that's one way to boost "sales". Probably a mistake, however.
It's coming to PS3/PS4 as well as Xbox 360/Xbox One.

Looks decent. Maybe it can make me forget that crappy movie.
I guess that story about holding back the release date for 2 weeks to meet manufacturing targets was right after all. I'm so damn envious of reporters who can play review code.
