Yeah, it's a pretty big reach.
New Metal Gear game?

And yet in my mind, I'm picturing it being said through clenched teeth. :)
@BlackWolf12: Yeah, I knew the story but hadn't heard that they'd ditched the Shipbreakers moniker. The last time I'd heard about it, it was still called "Homeworld: Shipbreakers". That's good though, its a better connection to the property and more accurately describes the gameplay.
God damn, I can't wait. Its been so long since the PS2 days, and my favorite entries. AC6 was alright, but not the same, and I didn't much like Assault Horizon at all. This plus VR seems like a natural combination.
This is Shipbreakers isn't it? Or is this another Homeworld tie-in?
Man, I've been dreaming for a sequel to Snatcher since my Sega CD days. That game and the Working Designs catalog are still some of my favorite games from that era.
SNATCHER!
Ow. Right in the wallet. BRING IT!
@UltraNova: Hideo Kojima. :)
Don't confuse some scattered complaints with an actual dislike. When dealing with internet comments, you have to set your baseline pretty high to filter out 90% of feedback as that of extremists whose unrealistic expectations were not met.
If Fallout 4 was actually bad, the internet would be on fire right now.
Gotta love them internets.
Kind of silly to pay an actor who isn't even in the main game to just do MP voice work.
The internet can find controversy anywhere.
Mechanically, Final Fantasy VII was awesome. The systems, the graphics (at the time), the gameplay, all fantastic.
I have never been a fan of the plot of VII, particularly of the ending. There were a lot of gaps in logic and character development, and the ambiguous ending was truly not earned. Considering it took two other games, an anime, and a movie to even tell the story adequately and justify the ending, I welcome the remake and the opportunity for Square-Enix to incorpo...
I literally cannot wait to play Ace Combat 7. I'm hoping that they resurrect Colony Wars as well, because that would be amazing in VR.
Yay, an announcement about an announcement.

Google Translate really did a number on the original, so I'm glad that Dualshockers parsed the important points for us.
I'm really looking forward to the remake, even if it is presented in a more modern format than the original ATB system. Hopefully they take the time to flesh out the plot of the game, like they did with Crisis Core.
Jesus, that takes me back.
Well that's just BS. They know that traffic is going to get a bump as people get new consoles and start downloading software/updates. They can then just take credit for any issues that happen as a result without lifting a finger.
Hey man, Saints Row had an open-world story. Obviously it was based in comedy, but there were some legitimately awesome scenes in all of them.
But otherwise, I agree with you.
