Uh.. where was this announced exactly? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of detail in this article.
And that I can absolutely not agree with. Dead Space 3 was a step down from 2, but still a good game. Some had issues with it, but I thought was a solid entry in the series.
However, Dead Space 2 was a better game than Dead Space in every measurable way.
I don't know about that. Final Fantasy XIII was pretty crappy too.
My immediate question was "Who's giving negative feedback about Uncharted 4"?
...other than the Washington Post that is. (Half the time, anyway)
It would be nice and all, but Crash never really set the sales charts on fire back in the day, so I'm not sure how much of a coup this would be. If there were still demand/money in it, I'd bet Activision would still be squeezing that IP for all it was worth.
That said, I still thought that scene in Uncharted 4 was ridiculously awesome so who knows. Maybe nostalgia plus a more open design could change some minds.
@Wallstreet37: Open world games ca...
You know why products go on sale, right? Its not an automatic thing that happens over time for everything equally.
That's what adblocker is for.
@mogwaii: Again, I don't have a complete picture of the mechanics yet, but VR will fundamentally alter the way you experience the game so it's a different selling point. On the final release, we'll find out the full scope of the game and its mechanics and hopefully there's more to it than we've seen so far. And heck, there's always patches/DLC, so you never know.
In theory this game should be right up my alley, but so far the vertical slice of the game I've seen isn't entirely compelling to me. The problem with the game I have is in part because of its biggest selling point: procedural generation. The game can be a very wide experience, but still not be very deep. There could be an impossibly large variety of planets to visit, but if the loop is just "go to planet, mine planet, catalog flora/fauna, move on" then is variety enough to ...
For someone who prefaces their comment with an "I own a PS4" boilerplate, you sure shill for the Xbox One in a lot of your comment history.
It comes off as super sincere though, don't worry.
@Khaotic: Well that was unnecessary.
That statement is equally accurate.
...who?
And I guess Gran Turismo is a walking simulator in a driving game's clothes.
...there really needs to be an emoticon for a MASSIVE eye roll.
...wait, what?
More rumors. It's not as though we won't have months after an official announcement to discuss this, why are we all jumping the gun?
Roughly around the time that the PS4.5 was "confirmed".
I'd like some actual facts on either before discussion based on rampant speculation can be taken seriously.
NOBODY KNOWS!
Xbox was only out 4 years before the Xbox 360 was launched.
When the article is coming from VGChartz, I can honestly say that the Xbox One figures are just as valid as any other they've provided.
@disagrees: ... which is to say, they're *not* accurate. Any of them. That's the joke.
