Additionally if, as has been stated, it isn't an issue or isn't required on the 360 then why are there so many games games on 360 where screen tearing is distractingly noticible and where triple buffering would have been a simple fix but wasn't used?

Despite the disagrees you seem to have received as anyone who has gamed long enough and had the opportunity to switch their displays refresh rates will know, a displays refresh rate is of course fundamentally linked to screen tearing, so its possible that switching to a higher refresh rate or display with a higher refresh rate may improve the tearing.

2) What happens when your network provider happens to be doing maintenance or upgrades in your area and your network is down (as happens with Virgin to me quite often)?
Edit: And of course there is the matter of no physical copies or even electronic ones and the current quality of streaming!

As for RSX, its better at some things than Xenos and in some its not, overall it is the weaker of the two however as already mentioned the CELL can pick up the difference plus a whole lot more if utilised ...

Actually you will find that SSM has this to say about the camera in GOW3

I don't really rely on reviews when thinking of what game to but, but I suppose when they're all factored together and read properly (where deserved) they serve there purpose!

Hey I'm a PC gamer too, I was actally a PC gamer first and have been for nearly 25 years, as soon as I was old enough to type on a keyboard and use a mouse so I know what you mean, but I dont think there's anything you could teach me about PC gaming I dont already know. I've even built (from scratch) three gaming rigs!!
My point is the money just isn't in PC gaming any more.. PC games are rarely in shops / rarely advertised, you can call out digital distributi...
