I kind of agree, it's hard to see that any of the big three will really leave the console arena, there are arguments as to why they could or should but there are even bigger arguments as to why they shouldn't or couldn't! :/

Xbox live, amazing online -thats all software.. What Microsoft specialise in. My thought is they will drop out of hardware but keep live ALIVE on the PC, keep making games and having third party games etc, all via Windows 8. So same service and content just no hardware something they aren't known for. This makes sense given recent announcements!

Its difficult in two ways, firstly this is a low budget indie downloadable game really and should be reviewed as such HOWEVER it is also trying to be a big budget game and whilst props to the devs this doesn't always work and can end up in no mans land inbetween which is where this appears to have dropped!

Whilst I intended to buy this regardless of reviews the controls do look awkward, even just looking at video gameplay..

Its not going to be Sony, the PlayStation division earns them too much money as a whole (as indicated in an earlier article today) and Sony have too much invested in studios and software as well as the hardware itself, the same however cannot be said for Microsoft!

...I'll call it now and say my long term hunch may be right and Microsoft will bow out hardware wise with Windows 8 being their next-gen (Software), with new games, backwards compatible with 360 games and also ...

There's going to be some lost in shops nobody goes too.. damaged box's at retailers or ones stolen by employees.. + 3G versions where peeps already bought WiFi...

....so lets all just wait six months and see the figures then including global sales...

ME.. I'm gonna get one regardless but not till April when I will hopefully be feeling a bit flush!..

lol the Razer Gaming Tablet looks like it would go great together with the PS4, vs Wii U and its controller!!

But remember that for 3D content you will need to pretty much half the sesoultion/refresh, so 8k / 300fps would become 4k / 150fps...

There are 4k TV's and Projectors out this year, Films (Toy Story 3 and Hobbit) filmed in 4k, 4k YouTube, 4k up-scaling BD players, 4k supporting BluRay disks and the PS3 will receive a 4k resolution update this year for stills with 4k content already available (PlayView "visual magazine") on the Japan PlayStation store...

..considering the above I think it would be stupid to think that the PS4 won't at the ve...

Do you disagree that the PS4 would support 4k Film and Pictures??.. the PS3 supports (or will support) 4k Stills as it is.

4k TV IS going to happen whether we like it or not, much like 3D, people nay-said that but pretty much every TV released this year, and even last year, supported it!!

Edit: Even the BD players are upscaling to 4k:-
