Security and support aren't "new" features. That's supposed to be there.
Stability? That's also supposed to be there. Microsoft has known how to give us a stable operating system since XP service pack 2. Stability should be a no-brainer for Microsoft now.
System scaling? That's a given also. The only people who don't have to incorporate system scaling is Apple because of their closed-hardware policy. They control what hardware their OS is on so they're set....
I'll probably use it, but once again Microsoft makes another step towards a Mac / Unix / Linux feel to their OS.
A prime example is basically their ripoff of the running instances idea from Mac OSX. (highlighted icons that glow or have indicators beneath them when an app is running)
