Licensed devs = quality animated themes.
I just wish they were free, but oh well.
Yeah, this gen really seems to be all about parity because the economy has forced people to choose 1 console, so console manufacturers (and in turn, developers) nowadays feel compelled to make the consumers feel equal so they don't give off any impression they've been shafted in any way.
Did that make sense? lol
Luckily, being on the comment board on the N4G end is not actually "in" (read: in your site). So there's no need to GTFO because we're not in. This is N4G here, not HHG world.
lol?
Well I'm just speaking in regards to the presentation of the article, not the article itself lol.
Well last gen, developers actually took the time to make games better for the Xbox. Almost any game that was multiplat and mattered had a better version of the game engine running on the Xbox. That's just how it was.
Quite frequently last gen, there was a noticeable difference (more like night and day difference) between Xbox / PS2 versions of a game.
This gen it's a different story. There's specific things we're talking about here, not power of the hardware overall ...
It's quite obvious the PSN was late to the party. No one with a brain can deny this. But it's quickly building steam now, and I do like what I'm seeing.
Wow, an HHG article that isn't presented as a question or total hypothetical.
The planets have aligned.
No problem. I have a slightly more detailed impressions paragraph underneath the actual story.
Edit:
It's perfectly playable in the state it's in right now...there's just some presentation-related bugs to work out. Audio and visual stuff. And some minor geometry issues. Some people have reported falling through the map. I haven't. Yet.
Because it tastes like White Chocolate Chip Macademia Nut Cookies.
It runs decently well, but there are still major sound glitches, and I believe the game uses a dynamic resolution system similar to flower where the center of your view is a lower rez.
You can see pixelation when anything is beyond 30 yards...the game really isn't too pretty unfortunately, although some of the effects are nice and the weapons and bangs sound good.
The game is still chock full o' bugs, but it is still fun to play.
Boo-hoo. I love the update.

No problems here. Launch 60-gig
Of course the ultimate goal is to be rewarded for effort put into the site, but so far we've seen almost zero return after 1.25 years of work. In fact, we are way in the red.
We started this because we love it, and we continue forward and expand because of the same.
So don't tell us monetary gain is a primary motivator, because it really isn't.
Ah yes for the points in particular, I though you meant the site in general =P
Thanks a lot!
What makes you think that can't change?
I would probably bank on:
- Sly Cooper
- Jak and Daxter
- Twisted Metal
- Kingdom Hearts
- Legend of Dragoon
- Sequel to Warhawk
- Getaway
