Please understand that the PS3 slim will not feature a FASTER cell chip. It's only redesigned on a SMALLER SCALE, so it's more EFFICIENT as far as processing power ~ thermal output goes.
The Slim will have the EXACT same performance specs as the previous PS3 models. Worry not.

One reason I want the Slim is because of the matte finish. I HATE machines that get COVERED in grime and fingerprints and show it off like a fat greasy model on a runway.
