What a lame-o
While he occasionally makes valid points (read: occasionally), his (and his staff's) spelling and grammar are so horrible that I want to rub steel wool into my eyes every time I see one of these butchered things floating around N4G.
Seriously, hire an editor HHG. You need it.
Vietnam =/= WWII
That's because it's a damned good game.
"This is the internet" is absolutely not a viable excuse for using trash English, especially on a news aggregate site. Plus, I'm not trying to be cool. Maybe one day the people I bug about their English will thank me because they'll be competing with other less-vigilant people for copy editing and copywriting jobs after their internet blogs inevitably fail, and knowing simple English rules like the ones in the link I posted will help you a lot more than you know.

Well, it sure as hell looks damn sight better than Fallout 3 (my mind instantly compares it to that and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.)
Also...why did I feel some nostalgia for old school medal of honor games when watching this? Hmmm.
lol that old lady video is pure gold
It takes more than lots of over-exposure HDR and super-bloom to make lighting good.
Alan Wake and Halo Reach are the only games on the 360 with lighting that is respectable and feasible when comparing to how light reacts with the world around you.
A great example of a great color palette, amazing HDR lighting, and great lightmapping is Uncharted 2. All games should aspire to look like it, from a technical standpoint:
So how many Street Fighter games have all of you played on the iPhone / iPod Touch?
You sure sound like you know exactly how it will play.
It's "wants", not "want's"
Come on dude...seriously. 1st grade English much?
Hell yeah! 63 games and counting (and none of them are any stupid "lite" versions) on my iPod Touch 3rd gen! Bring on the games! GTA Chinatown Wars is already amazing enough...I bet this will top it.
I watched the animated film. It's pretty much the story of the entire game. Now I don't feel compelled to play it! lol
Same thing applies to owning firearms and weapons. If you kill someone, it's YOUR fault, not the gun's fault, or the axe's fault.
You can't just claim temporary insanity and say the gun or axe made you do it. That, in and of itself, would be insane.
The Church of England is wrong. Maybe they should play these games first before being so judgmental. I'm a Christian myself, and I enjoy games that are well-produced and have a great story. Uncharted, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Red Faction, Metal Gear Solid (however convoluted it may be lol)...all of these have excellent narratives, and send a good message by putting the focus on honest story telling. Yeah, there's violence, but something that's restricted to a fantasy world has no bearing on the...
All it needs is some anti aliasing and slightly better textures. That's it.
Are you freaking kidding me?
Excuses, EXCUSES!
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is decidedly an improvement over the first Bad Company. Everything has been improved. Lightmapping, textures, sound, weapons, upgrades, physics...it's all been touched on, and people are beginning to see that BC2 is by far and away the better military FPS.
Classes are meant to present various strategic advantages or disadvantages, and you need large(r) maps to really begin to see this.
Twitch shooters like Call of Duty are more run-and-gun,...
I would most certainly hope so...the first Crysis is a jumbled mess of inefficient coding. Glad to see Crytek nailed it down this time.
