I hope they're a long ways off, because I'm not ready to spend more money yet, and these current consoles still have a LOT of potential left in them, considering their upgradeability, modularity and such through firmware updates.

When will these comparison sites learn to use .png images for screenshots? Or do they not know how to use photoshop to save *maximum* quality (level 12) .jpegs?

Seriously....it wasn't too long ago in western culture that 15 or 16 was considered the courting / marriage age for young women. Men were frequently somewhat or much older...but nowadays, people are so absolutely paranoid that anything even remotely approaching the age of 18 is considered a mortal sin and mark on that person's life and is served with jail time and a life-long record.

Very true. My friend's 50" plasma heats up her room almost unbearably so.
TVs put out way more heat than one would think. Plus, TVs use passive cooling, so the damned heat just lingers, for crying out loud. At least consoles have fans!
