BS3, please remember that while your argument is partly valid, it is only partly valid because of this segment:
"right now"
Don't worry....your PS3 will soon be receiving quite a bit of love from you.
=)
I make mistakes....but most of the time, I try to be correct and / or knowledgable on topics I'm passionate about...and this is one of them. Thanks for any and all bubbles.
My bubbles were taken away by fans of the "other console".
You know....the ones who give negative feedback reports just when they think you're wrong...
EDIT**
@ BS3...there are plenty of multiplatform developers who have put in FAR more effort than Valve has (w...
Way to go Ubisoft....giving PS3 owners one less reason to buy your crap.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if they forced the game to run on just the 3.2GHz PPU, the RSX, and the XDR RAM.
I bet valve didn't even bother giving EA any tools or assets or ways to add full multi-threading support to the PS3 version.
How would I guess or assume this?
Because the proof is in the pudding, and the PS3 is more than capable of handling a FOUR YEAR OLD engine (albeit supposedly updated with multi-threading support, and with HDR lighting sup...
If it doesn't fix the inexcusable framerate issues that should be very easy for the high-speed XDR RAM and fast Cell processor to handle, then I don't want to hear about it.
The Source Engine is one of the biggest CPU-hogs around, and why any and all programmers did NOT take advantage of the HUGE wealth of processing power the PS3 offers, is BEYOND me.
HD DVD's sore losers must get off on posting these "Blu-ray won, but..." articles.
Enough already.
Find solace in something that's actually worth a damn.
Oh, go blow it out your @ss, omicron.
This game looks f_cking fantastic, and you bloody well know it.
Not anytime soon will I ever be downloading compressed crap from an online service.
I'll stick to my physical medium, thanks.
How lame....where do I begin?
He can't even keep his tie straight....
I just tried Command & Conquer 3 a few weeks ago....I can't WAIT to play red alert 3...
Hell....it's a no brainer on the PS3, what with keyboard and mouse support and all...
I swear, there better be keyboard and mouse support for the PS3 version, with the ability to map keys just like the PC version...
Wow....that's a crap video....song was good though.
Dragula FTW!!!
I agree. The whole advertising thing is indeed getting a bit ridiculous and in-your face...I wouldn't mind it in a social setting such as Home, but please not in games...
I was playing battlefield 2142 the other day....and I saw an ad for I am Legend....which is a movie from 2008.....but the game is set in the year 2142....that definitely took me out of the game experience for sure.
Anyone know when the hell this is being released?
I don't like the lighting on the 360 anymore.
The screenshots show that the PS3 has better radiosity, while the lights in the 360 version are high-contrast, and too vibrant....when sun shines in a room.....the light bouncing around should make the rest of the room slightly lit as well.
The lighting on the 360 produces textures that have almost TOO much depth....correct levels of radiosity would have light bouncing all over the place, filling in most if not all of the...
Why people feel the need to evaluate and dissect a spectacular game several months after its release is baffling to me.
Anyone who has ever been shot at in real life would tell you that the cover system in Uncharted, along with Nathan's reactions as he's being shot at, are spot-on.
Can we move on now, please?
I like E for its classical architecture feel, and I for its sleek, futuristic, clean look.
Also, the architecture in I is similar to the wave in the XMB background, so I think that would definitely gel with the PS3.
This means you should get a TV that supports 720p.
And that's pretty much......every TV ever made in the past 4 years or so.
There's a dedicated scaling chip in the 360, there isn't in the PS3.
It's a hardware issue.
The PS3 would have to perform scaling with the cell processor in real-time, while the 360 just uses its scaling chip.
Get a new TV like the rest of the world, and move on.
Your projection TV is old and ...
To all of you who are b|tching about Sony "promising" 120fps...
They said they "EXPECT" it to be "CAPABLE", "POSSIBLE"....and they "HOPE" to achieve that.
Anyone need a grammar lesson to know what those words mean in comparison to "promise" ????
PM me if you want to know. Oh and here's the article quoting those phrases, that was given by someone up there claiming the word PROMISE was used.
That looks like what came outta my ass when I took a huge dump this morning.
Seriously....it's 2008....not 2003 anymore.
We have videocards with more than 64MB of memory.
