I agree.
But it is oh so sweet....I'm running this baby as my first 256-bit card....and it is GOOD TIMES, YO!
I play the table top version of this game as well as the PC counterpart, and I do have to say the tabletop turn-based experience translates VERY well to a real-time strategy experience.
Also, I LOOOOOVE the Necrons.
Cold, heartless, killing machines. (literally)
They're all like little mini Terminators (HASTA LA VISTA BAY-BEE) that have kick-ass weapons.
The Tau and Sisters of battle are good too.....the Sisters of Battle are somewhere in be...
It would be wise to pick up an nvidia 9600 instead of this.
128-bit interface = bottlenecked performance.
pslegion.com is in the process of moving. Bear with us, as it's taking a little while.
I would care about this article if it was about building a PC UNDER a thousand dollars, not OVER.
I was shocked that a downloadable title like this had framerate issues.
There are lots of bits of slowdown.
It pisses me off.
Other than that....it's an ok game. AI is kinda dumb though.
That's a comparison review, and even so, it's a comparison involving the inferior 9600 gs.
This is the GT version AND it's overclocked.
Thanks, but no thanks.
The site will be back up soon.
Brilliantly thought out and written.
Thompson is a sick man, and I was floored when I heard of his latest stunt.
He needs to have a serious reality check, and maybe after 20 years of solitude in the mountains of Nepal, he'll learn to not be such a horrible person.
You can't destroy random vegetation in uncharted.
Only select pieces of cover and rock formations, etc.
7950GX2???
My 512MB 8600 GT overclocked will run this, right?
Also, why was my comment reported as off topic up there?
That comment Jack T made is fanboyish and doesn't belong in the gamer zone.
That's BS, man.

I...
Finally, EA!
Now if only they could fix the Orange Box PS3....then I'd love them forever.
I whole-heartedly agree.
=)
I believe that the hardware inside the PlayStation 3 prevents it from being outmoded or phased out until at least 2015.
I see the Wii able to last very long as well, but ONLY as long as good software remains for it.
The 360 I feel, only has one thing that really gives it longevity...is Xbox Live. But once Home comes out....we'll see what that does to people who realize they could get the same or better services from Home, for free.
That comment belongs in the gamer zone.

God, what a crap video.
Also, fix the spelling and word repeats in the story description.
Anyone who has played this game knows that the lighting is actully better than the PS2 versions.
Check out some screenshot galleries of Chains of Olympus, and you'll see that the shadowing of characters is more detailed and they throw long, soft shadows, not harsh shadows directly under the character model all the time.
I was seriously impressed with the amount of detail they squeezed out of a handheld.
EDIT*
I just looked at the screenshot...
Yeah....I thought a better finish would have been a door slamming on his head...more leverage that way.
I hate it when I blow something up in half-life 2....like a bunch of crates....and my fps goes down 40 or 50 frames a second because the engine isn't threading any particles or renderables or anything.
Any time I come across smoke or I blow up a whole bunch of crates, my fps takes a serious nosedive to near the 50s...where as for the rest of the game (including normal combat) I'm running at around 130 to 200 fps.
Now tell me something here.
If I can play...
WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This will be the new crack for gamers!
BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF THE ALMIGHTY ZERRRRRRRG
