HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAAHAHA and you think MICROSOFT doesn't have enough money to maintain Xbox Live without charging for it?

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

They could EASILY set aside a couple few BILLION dollars from their yearly revenue, and use that to maintain it instead.

For once, the PS3's lighting looks better. It's about time, I say.

The game isn't available for either the PS2 or the Wii.

Absolutely fantastic....I like the Crysis character....and Spawn, for sure.

I refuse to pay to play over the internet, when my internet connection by itself is quite expensive.

I also refuse to subscribe to pay-per-month MMORPGs.

Do you have any idea how much extra cash a company rakes in by charging a certain amount to be able to use their service or game?

We're talking about multi-multi-millions of dollars here, people.

It's all coming from your pockets, and everything they provide you with is not anything you sho...

He clearly stated that at the time of incident, the 360 was on a tile surface.

Your little rant there doesn't disprove the fact that the 360 is one of the most miserable consumer electronics failures in human history, from a reliability standpoint.

Of course I tell people about the included warranty from Microsoft.

However, a 3-year warranty rarely convinces people to totally disregard high failure potential (if they are informed about the failure potential, otherwise, they'll just think they've got a great deal....a 3-year warranty because Microsoft is a "great company" and they offer "great warranties")

I also state to customers that the Wii and the PlayStation 3 both have below-average fa...

I work electronics retail, and I make sure to inform EVERY person that wants to purchase a 360 about the large possibility of an RROD failure.

I then proceed to inform them that the Xbox 360, while providing access to some good games, is one of the greatest (or worst?) consumer electronics disasters to ever grace (or curse?) humanity.

I make sure to let them all know that it is a **flawed** electronic device with a high failure rate.

75% of the time, the...

Screw Windows AND OS X...

I have Ubuntu Linux and I run the Gnome desktop with Compiz Fusion, and I tell you right now, NOTHING comes even CLOSE to touching the incredible intuitiveness and attractiveness it offers.

I hope Linux starts to attract more attention to itself, because it really is a sight to behold.

And it's FREE.

As consoles evolve, so do expectations about what games they can put forth.

If a developer claims destruction is what the game is ABOUT, then they better do it RIGHT.

The 360 and PS3 offer sufficient power to allow for true physical destruction of buildings and objects, as other games that are in development are going to, or are doing so, already.

Sorry if I expect what can already be done.

The problem with your argument there is that DICE **CLAIMED** that you can blow up and destroy ANYTHING in BF: BC

When in all actuality, you can't blow up anything at all, except for trees. (and they disappear soon after they fall down)

The buildings just get chunks blown out of them....you can't blow them up in any way whatsoever.

I don't play games that don't fully live up to what the developers CLAIM it will be.

WTF?

"A free update later this month will allow users to download mini-games and movie clips/trailers"

That statement right there put shame upon the rest of the article.

That little quip about the PS3 is completely wrong and totally uninformed.

You've been able to download games and trailers since the PS3 was RELEASED.

This sounds like something I'd hear on a news channel, spouted by some uninformed news reporter doing...

Hell yeah I remember that trailer...

I guess EA struck while the Iron was hot and took that sci-fi space horror theme and ran with it (read: Dead Space) after Dark Sector dropped it.

Yes.

Apparently, trees make rooftops explode gloriously.

*rolls eyes*

Also, the explosions in this game would make one assume that everyone is wielding a smooth-bore 120mm tank cannon, not 40mm under-slung grenade launchers.

it had first come out as."

That's pretty inconsiderate, no matter what way you look at it.

The destruction in this game is a joke, compared to other titles.

This is a blatant ripoff of the geomod tech from the Red Faction series.

I won't be buying this game on ANY platform.

EDIT*

You blow holes in walls, and any debris from destruction disappears very quickly, and you can't even knock down whole buildings.

You should be able to blow the F*CK out of ANY structure in that game.

One of the most pathetic thi...
